It's Greek To Me Reviews
I’ve been to this restaurant many times. The owner and chef will sit down with you and share a nice time. There are also regulars who show up around 6 to share conversation and Greek coffee. This is an authentic restaurant.
While I was eating my meal with the owner, Mr. Sam, he was telling me to eat, eat while it is hot and it was all delicious. I am so grateful for Mom and Pop places like this.
The store is filthy and the food is not fresh — it’s microwaved. One person inside at 12:30 on a weekday should have been a clue. I ordered moussaka. It was very dry. I paid online for extra sauce. The man had no idea what sauce was in moussaka (it’s bechamel). He had no sauce to give. I ordered online through the website and it said it would be ready in 15-25 minutes. It's Greek To Me is a casual, authentic Greek eatery with a welcoming atmosphere. The menu offers a range of flavorful dishes, including dolmas, chicken shawarma, beef and lamb gyro, and baba ghanush. Prices are reasonable, making it a great value. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant is generally clean, although some areas could use more attention. The owner and chef, Mr. Sam, take pride in providing an authentic Greek dining experience, often engaging with customers and the regulars who frequent the restaurant around 6 pm for conversation and Greek coffee. While some dishes, like the chicken kabobs, could be improved with more meat, the overall quality is decent, and the restaurant is considered a must-stop for those seeking authentic Greek cuisine.
