For Lubbock Tx, on a Sunday at noon there was only 6 people here. I figured being a 4 out of 5 star place it’d be busy. Kind of a crack in the wall place, small, but still open feeling. I’m not a clean freak by any means but the floors and counters and everything looked run down and nasty, not quite what you’d expect. Owner of the place just sat on his phone and didn’t say much other than order at the counter and they had 1 person cooking and working the register. Kinda sad and not a friendly atmosphere to be honest. The food was not cooked fresh from what I saw, the guy never touched the grill or oven to cook the meat or anything, so more than likely it was microwaved or something of that nature. The place needs some updating and serious cleaning and maybe then it’ll draw in a better crowd and have a more thriving business. Overall the food was mediocre at best, but the atmosphere and overall condition of this place was not that great. Just trying to give an honest review of the place.

This is not a great place to eat AT ALL. The first thing i saw was that the walls were covered in black stuff. It took 30 minutes just to get my food. When you're waiting, all you can hear is the microwave go off, which meant the food wasn't even fresh. When I finally got it, the humus was sour, and the pita bread was flat. Was told that they don't even make the pita bread in house they get it from a store. I told them no onions in my gyro and still got it. The lettuce was yellow and gross. In the end, I would not suggest going here. This place puts greek food to shame.

This isn’t the best photo, the food was way too flavorful to think about posting a review before devouring it. The dolmas were great. The chicken shawarma was great. The beef and lamb gyro was great. I brought my Egyptian friend and she said this is very authentic copy and paste. She even said that the baba ghanush was better than her mom’s!! HA. AND THE PRICES ARE VERY GOOD!!! I was genuinely surprised the reviews weren’t higher this is a 4.5+ star establishment for sure. Go. It’s got that you know this is a good hole in the wall feel to it for sure.

I love this place. It reminds me of back home in Mansfield Ohio. The food is great and the owner and people here are wonderful.

The building needs a deep clean. It’s never a good sign to when you see that much dirt and grime because it gets you to wondering about all the stuff you can’t see- like soda spouts. The gentleman who took our order was very nice. I thought the chicken kabobs could have had more meat. The veggie platter came with more food than the chicken kabob platter, which blew my mind. It wasn’t the best Greek food I’ve ever had but it was decent. Pita bread was lower level mid.

Loved the chicken shawarma, food was prepared fresh and well. Seating was adequate and the owner was a nice gentleman. Never knew Lubbock had such a nice and consistently good spot!

I was so excited to see they had a greek restaurant in Lubbock but sadly we were very disappointed. The place was very dirty and even the bread looked very old. I was hoping to get dessert but they all looked very old. This saddens me because the owner or whoever helped up was very kind and friendly and did a great job but I was very grossed out. It was a Sunday evening and there was no one there, should have known but all these reviews seem good???? Very very strange.

Clean-ish restaurant thO a REAL musty OLD smell that was not appreciated. Expensive gyro with no fries or drink ($9.15). From Chicago where the lamb spinS on a rotisserie and sliced from rotisserie generously to make sandwich. Server/Cashier/Cook at ¨Itś Greek to Me¨ are the same person that heated Up four small pieces of meat/lamb (and one arbitrarily taken from a plate on the counter) and provided ME with an questionably edible gyro where I KNOW I WILL not BE back!

Too expensive for the amount of food. Not very tasty very bland . Won’t be back. There are better places in Lubbock for Greek food.

The food was delicious and fresh. The lamb and beef was cooked perfectly and was very tender. The rice was very flavorful. The food was delivered very quickly. It was delivered within 30 minutes of ordering.
