Brenda was so great! Super friendly &attentive to all of our needs. All of the food is absolutely delicious every time we come! Great place to dine in on your lunch hour. Eat good and get out in time to go back to work.

J&M used to be my favorite bbq house, however when visiting on March 12, 2025 I will say I will never eat there again. The meat was dry and tasteless, I should have complained at time of visit but I was with my ex and he didn't want to complain. That night after returning home I got nauseas spent 40 dollars to get a sick stomach. So disappointing don't see me going back to that place really sad how it has went downhill.

Food was very cold. Advertised Baby Back ribs and was served St Louis Ribs. Pulled pork was ice cold when served. Sweet potato fries were very cold and old. This is my first horrible experience eating out in Lubbock. I did not say anything to the waitress because she was very nice. And I didn't feel like making a scene. I spent $51 for the worst BBQ meal i have ever eaten.

The brisket was dry. Mac had no flavor. The potato salad is store bought but added mustard…the chicken was bland. The sausage was not bad. The service was really good but the food is not there

Well it was 6:38 p.m. and I ordered a two-play meat plate they were out of baked potatoes are you going to run out of baked potatoes at 6:30 in the afternoon the service was horrible

We were given the wrong address to pick up food for a wedding. This is the location it took us to. Even though we were in the wrong location they were willing to take our order and get us food made before the wedding and deliver. We ended. That is Amazing customer service! It also smelled Amazing! We will be stopping in next time we are in town.

The chicken and the Turkey were the stars for us. Food was a whole better than any other BBQ joint I've been to. However, the super star is that Mac&Cheese is one of the best. I recommend this place!!!
