Jake's Sports Cafe is a spacious bar and restaurant, they offer different games like billiards, etc., live and indirect music, their food is good and fresh, good drinks and cold beers, customer service is fast and efficient, good music. background and various televisions with different images, its atmosphere is the best, social and pleasant, you don't get bored, happy faces everywhere, we will return for more on another occasion, we really enjoyed our stay.
Jake's is honestly pretty awesome! The food is good and it has a great atmosphere. I mainly visit for shows and live music, not much of a sports fan lol. My only qualm with Jake's is that the backroom gets insanely hot and muggy during shows but other than that it's awesome! Definitely a staple in Lubbock if live music, beer, sports, and having a good time is your thing.
It's Jake's so you know you'll be up close and personal with the band. The bartenders get your drinks out fast. Never hesitate to catch a show here. Just gets your tickets sooner than later because they will sell out.
