Ordered the Tuesday special since it seemed simple. Wrong. The special includes 8 pieces of chicken, 2 sides (I got double mash potatoes), and 4 biscuits. Was missing 1 piece of chicken and there was no gravy for the mash potatoes. Also the breading was falling off the chicken and was very squishy...we had to strip off the skin and eat the meat. Strange.

I recently stopped by the KFC in Lubbock and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken was hot, crispy, and fresh—exactly what you'd hope for. I ordered the 3-piece combo and everything from the mashed potatoes to the biscuit hit the spot.
The service was friendly, and the staff moved quickly even though it was a little busy during lunch hour. The dining area was clean..
Overall, great experience. If you're craving some fried chicken in Lubbock, this KFC gets the job done.

Today I decided to use the KFC app and get a pick up order from 215 University Avenue KFC. Normally I have a decent experience going through their drive-thru. Well I arrived when my order said it was ready at around 1 PM. There was only one small family in front of me and I had to wait over 15 minutes to get my order that was already ready and getting cold. I finally got it and was missing an item and got the wrong drink. I got in my car to leave and decided to check and make sure my spicy chicken sandwich was correct, which it was, but there is MOLD on the sandwich bag!!!! I decided it wasn’t worth it to go back in as I was already annoyed by everything else that happened. I am really dissatisfied and disappointed and I really hope they see this because there is no way anyone should be served anything with MOLD ON IT.

Absolutely worst establishment to exist! I waited 1 hour for my online take out order and after the hour wait they still didn’t know what I ordered. 🤣 It’s absolute joke and trash location.
