It was the worst restaurant I've ever been to.First of all, this is not an authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. They put a price on all the side dishes(Korean called it 'Banchan') and water gets paid as well. A side dish is free in a real Korean restaurant. The names of the menus (I think they used Google Translator) are not all exact Korean names. Kimchi fried rice was the worst, and Soybean paste soup was disgusting.The dining environment was also the worst. The staff kept saying something in Chinese and they were doing construction in the dining area. Smoke from the grill was not released outside, and customers who ate sushi in that environment had to eat.If Google has a minus star, I want to give it to them. The price, taste, and atmosphere are all the worst.

My husband and I did the Korean BBQ section of the restaurant. We were very impressed with the speed of service, how all of the employees worked together, and with the quality of meat. Our favorite were all of the Bulgogi's! They were seasoned to perfection and would melt in your mouth while eating it. I highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely go back to this place.

Not worth the money! Our waitress was clueless and rude. It was six of us. NOONE enjoyed the meal. Almost all sides were out. For the price almost thirty per person they should up their service. Disappointed. Will not return. The first round of meat was descent. However, any meat after that tasted gamey like liver.

I really want to love this place but it has somehow gone downhill since they first opened. The last several times we’ve been the service has been poor (whether there’s 6 or just 2 of us dining there). Takes forever for them to get to us and then takes forever for then to get back to us with what we asked for. Consistently get the wrong meat. I’d love for this place to get back up to par because it’s a fun experience and the food is tasty (when you get what you order...), and frankly I’d love for it to be more authentic (korean music, not having to ask for chopsticks, etc). For $30/person I’d just expect more.

We got there and was seated, it took about 10 minutes before anyone came to take our drink order. Then after another 10 minutes they told us that they didn't have sweet tea. Then we ordered an appetizer and two sushi rolls, after about 40 minutes they brought us a few different appetizers for waiting for so long. As I went to take my first bite of food that I had waited so long for, there was a long black hair in one of the appetizers, needless to say we never got our food and the server acted like the hair wasn't a big deal!

Just ate my first time at this place. Loved it. Staff was very friendly. Covid friendly. Food was prepared very well and was delicious Had both sushi and the bbq. Way more food than we could eat so we took home the rest! A fun treat for the next week or so. Highly recommend it!

This place was absolutely amazing! Glad to see KBBQ out in Lubbock. Our host Phillip, was attentive and made sure not only that we had meat always cooking on the grill but that our side dishes were plenty stocked and replaced our grill frequently between meats; being mindful about cross contamination. The tables were well maintained, and the bathrooms were immaculate; well decorated, even family friendly equipped with separate changing room and all. I would highly recommend going here! Well worth it

I’m always the “Read reviews but never writes a review” girl, but I have to write a review for this place! I waited a very long time to eat here, and it was DEFINITELY worth the wait!! The food was amazing and the Sushi was INCREDIBLE! The service was great and I absolutely loved getting to visit with the Owner!! She is such a sweet lady! Will definitely keep coming back!!

First we made a reservation over the phone for 7:15. We arrived on time and still waited in line. Our waiter was young and obviously poorly trained.The lady who seated us was very curt. Guess we made her mad because she excepted a reservation. They have water only in small bottles and charge you $1without telling you.Our Waiter brought one menu for 5 people. I could go on and on about the service but that's established. The quality of the meat was mediocre at best. No instructions on the best way to prepare the meat on the grill. I saw one table who put it all on at one time so they were just steaming their meat.The spring rolls are frozen and although you can have unlimited appetizers again the waiter showed up to our table about 6 x in the evening. We had ordered spicy shrimp but when asked he told us they were out so he brought us plain shrimp which was very soft with no flavor.Ambiance we gave a 1-2 on a 5 scale. Experience 1 Food 1-2. Oh and the sushi was fair. All preprepared or imitation meat. I could not believe people were waiting in line for this place.oh! My friend who is wheat intolerant called ahead to see what items had no Soy. She was told there were foods with out soy. She asked the waiter who came back and the cook told him everything had soy. Everything? She ate rice! They even just serve you sushi rice for the side. I was so embarrassed that I chose this restaurant. Our bill was $72 for this.

Service was pretty slow and took a while to get our food each time we ordered. The ingredients weren’t prepared great and just tasted bland. Cooking our food was fun but our grill went out twice and it took a while for the waiter to reappear to be flagged down.At the end of the night we saw we had to pay for our water, though we didn’t ask for bottled water we just wanted glasses of water then thought it was just a covid precaution until we saw other tables with cups.Cool experience but won’t be going again when it cost $80 for subpar service and not incredible food.

The first time we ate here was when they were brand new and the service back then was really slow and things didn't seem well organized. I'm so glad we gave them a second chance! The food is great and it comes out to the table quickly. The meat is well marinated (the ones that come with sauces/spices) and fried rice is one of the best I've had in a long time! Our waiter was attentive and friendly!

Never again.. first thing when we walk in host was nice but sat down at dirty table the menus where dirty had leftover food on them and sticky the tongs and scissors we where given where dirty had water spots and dried blood when asked if we could get our table re wiped Bc of leftover food it felt like a hassle we then ask for water and they bring two cups with ice and 2 water bottles and was told where going to be charged a dollar for the drinks and I was like okay thinking we where going to be able to get refills i then decided I should make sure things are clear turns out it's a $1 every drink you drink so refills are a $1 so I was like wow and our waitress told us "ya so next time you come you can bring your own drink" LIKE WHAT!!?!? HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO KNOW THAT she then says it depends on who's here if the owner is here they might tell you something about bringing your own drink never been to a "restaurant" that it's just ridiculous and honestly a joke of a restaurant. It feels like they are trying to sneak prices under your nose and not tell you these things without you having to make it very clear so if you go just make sure to make everything clear because they will charge you out the butt for bad service. SUSHI WAS GOOD THOUGH. But definitely not worth it spent $60 on mediocre food and didn't even get full all around don't recommend save your money

Awesome food, great sushi, extra cold beer! Have to try it. Our waiter was dry but attentive. Sushi was fresh and a perfect roll. Vegas and crunchy rolls were A+++. The spicy brisket was phenomenal with marinated beef being a very close second.
