I ordered a meat loaf and meat loaf was raw and it was still frozen. I asked for another one or something else and they brought me out one that just got warmed up in microwave with extra ketchup that was so liquid! Service was so slow and I will not ever be back to this place.

Worst expeience ever. Got there a little after 6 p.m. they had 2 tables 1 waiter. He took our order and then we sat there almost 45mins and no food, plus the waiter never came to check on us. Ended up leaving with no food.

To go orders are not worth it. If the location is slightly busy more than 2 tables you are looking at a 30+ minute wait for a plate that is going to contain old sides

today wasn’t a good experience. Came in, and we were seated, drinks were brought to us. Then didn’t see anyone for 25 min and no it wasn’t busy there were only two other couples there. Ordered the chicken and shrimp Alfredo noodles were hard and cold, my wife ordered a broil with crab legs have her plastic ware to eat with. After we got our order waiter never came by to check if we needed anything.

I arrived at 11 when they opened. Waited approximately 5 minutes to be seated because there were no workers at the front of the restaurant. Got seated and ordered. After ordering we were told an item that was ordered was still frozen and offered to get something else. Didn't want anything else so waited for the rest of the order. Waited approximately 40 minutes for the tables order and the item that was frozen was also brought out. The queen fish platter was good, chicken fried steak was a little tough and stringy, the liver which was the frozen items was tough. Sides were okay. Overall not the best first time experience. I will probably return hopefully service and food will be better!

The food is awesome. The fried broccoli is great. The service is poor at best. The tables were filthy. The waitstaff is nonexistent. They carry cups by the top/rim of the glass. God forbid you ask for a refill. Once the plate hits the table, you won't see anyone until you wave them down for the check. I've been here multiple times to see if it was just a bad day or something. Nope. It's the norm. So if you like good food, they have it. Just not much else is appealing.

Love this spot!! The food was great. I had the meatloaf and greens. The prices are fair. This spot reminds me of the soul food places in the Dfw area. So happy i found this place. I will be returning. ?

Service and food are inconsistent. I have visited this location 6 times and sometimes the service is amazing and the food is award winner. I wanted to provide a warning if you have guest or a social event. I will support again but just my family only until i see consistency. I cannot risk bad service and not excellent food if I have guest in town. Yesterday I had 4 guest from out of the country (party of 8, bill over $200) and the service was not great and food was not good (3 of 8 guest got great meals). No desserts were available. We waited 10 minutes and had to call on a waiter to take our orders and no one checking on us for refills. No one explaining the menu to my guest. We were seated in a location where waiters were going back and forth the entire meal. There were other locations in the restaurant we could have been placed. The appetizers cane out with food and not at earlier so it was a long wait with nothing to eat. We had a big order so we knew it would take a long time. The food was greasy and fries were soggy from lack of cooking. Chicken tenders were dry. My guest asked for them to be cook the fries more and still received grease soaked fries. Steak and shrimp meal was just covered in greasy cheese. Seafood boils were amazing. Greens were just fat saturated, Beef ribs were not tender and dry but covered in bbq sauce, Chicken alferado was great but it was greesy (you could see the oil sitting on top). We have had all these dishes before and they were not cooked like this. In previous vidits if something came out wrong, it was redone. Last night, they were sorry but nothing else was offered. I spoke to the co owner and he was apologetic but nothing more. Very disappointed. Hope our next experience will be different.

I ordered the oxtails with mash potatoes and cabbage. The cabbage was really good, cornbread was stale and hard you can tell the oxtails was warmed up and they where burned at the bottom with gravy that was super super salty, and the mashed potatoes was stale dry and tasted old. I was to excited about this meal all to be disappointed!!!!!
