Very good Filipino food! The chicken adobo is delicious and legit. Very soft chicken with the bone in, making it legit lol most places I've been to do boneless, for some reason. I also got the barbecued pork on a stick that was also smokey, sweet and delicious! Highly recommended if you're wanting some Filipino deliciousness in Lubbock!
We ordered take out from here around 4:00 on 9/7. The place was empty when we arrived, and after a few minutes of reviewing the menu, we chose the Mandarin Beef and Pepper steak combo plate and the chicken fried rice and a couple of egg rolls. About 20 minutes later, our order was ready, and we took it home. To my disappointment, the same tough beef was used in both the pepper steak and the mandarin beef. And only a few pieces between the two. The portion of each was very small....
Had the pleasure of meeting Linda and ordered one of my favorite dishes “Kare-Kare”. She was generous and surprised I like Filipino food.
Sat down and enjoyed my meal to the bone lol.
Visited at least twice and if I have another chance before leaving Lubbock, I’ll make another stop.
