This place is great... the food (Shrimp & Catfish w/ Okra & Hushpuppies) was excellent... a dry, not greasy, fry. I prefer the front (smoking) room. It was a better vibe with more of a locals feel. The back (non-smoking) room was brightly lit, but more of a younger crowd. I don't live in Lubbock, but if I did, they'd know my name.
I was expecting a seafood restaurant, but it was actually a bar. They didn't have a great selection of draft beers. The bartender was very nice. I ordered the shrimp basket. It was really good. So, if you are looking for a nice dive bar with good food, this is your place.
