So a group of our friends went to the bar and everything we tried to order they didn’t have to make the drinks. If we weren’t in a bus we would have left immediately. Also didn’t have limes, lemons or salt. Then there was no toilet paper or paper towels. The crowd was rude and stuck up. Only reason it’s 2 stars is because the dj did amazing. We loved the music.

Went there for New Year's celebration last night. I understand it was crowded, but it doesn't excuse one of the bartenders literally looking some people in the eye and taking orders for other people that arrived after.Several of us had to wait literal hour to be served a drink, for it to be given in a smug attitude, and the drink turned out to be a shot with water as a final insult.One girl waited 45 minutes just to ask for some water.Please retrain your staff on customer service. Regardless, I will never set foot in this place again.

says they open at 6, but wouldn’t serve us until 8, music and lights weren’t turned on til 8. half of the staff was at atomic drinking over an hour after they “opened”. short blonde bartender was rude because we were confused about .25 cent shot night being changed to a dollar. didn’t have a problem with it being a dollar. just the service being terrible and overall rude.

My friend and I have come here multiple times in the past and have had a blast! However, this night was so different! We literally were just freezing in the bar and I asked my friend to close the door and the bouncer and other workers were so upset that they started yelling at us to leave. We were so confused because it was simply cold and they started calling us disrespectful and yelling in our faces to leave the bar. Safe to say we will never be coming to this place again. Learn some customer service skills dude especially to sober customers! ❤️

Bar tenders add extra tips onto your tab. Don’t go here. Multiple times I’ve been added more tip than I’ve given. The girls who work here are rude and dishonest. very poor management.

Kieth the bouncer was way out of line. He shoved my friend out of the bar when he was trying to close his tab. Then proceeded to slap him when he was outside of the bar trying to sign his receipt. Not to mention they're liquor drinks are awful, you ask for a chilton and it tastes like they put sewer water in it, beer was warm and shots tasted horrible. Do not recommend this place.

Okay, so this fake blonde bartender on the end was so rude tonight. I was asking a genuine question about the drinks she pour me and my friend and I asked hey is there any vodka in this? Like an actual question I swear I wasn't trying to be offensive in any way and she said: No I just charged 22.46 for drinks with no vodka. Okay.... like no need for the attitude I was being so sweet to her so I ended up not tipping because she overcharged me. Just please don't go to mesquites for the drinks! The service is absolutely terrible! I hate being that person but i'm going to say it: I wish I could give them 0 stars!

Best bar on broadway, service is great and all the bartenders are amazing, especially kait, always super energetic and fun. Would recommend coming as much as you can.

The g*y DJ with the long a** girl hair sucks. Do not go here on Wednesday. The DJ plays the worst music ever. As a Dj u are supposed to know what the people want. As a Dj you should be able to crowd read. This dude clearly doesn't know how to DJ he just has a playlist, he does not know how to mix or do transitions good at all he kills the whole f****** vibe and just kicks people out when they request a song.
Bartender was rude for no reason, I’m guessing she was just having a bad night but when we tried to ask for a drink, she threw the money back at us and cussed repeatedly at us for not tipping. We always pay in cash and we told her that we always tip the jar because that’s were we assumed cash tips go but she did not believe us and told us to leave. (Bartender was blonde and short, had a stingray tattoo on her outer right arm and a shark tooth on her under right arm) I am also a bartender for a restaurant and never in my life have I shown disrespect to a customer like she did to us

I was served a shot of water from a police officer that was part of the bar. I asked why and then told I was going to be arrested. I had 2 beers… Be really careful, as they are trying to set up people… scary!!!!! I will be proceeding at its litigation for harassment, embarrassment and threatening

Really dirty place and extremely rude bartenders. I've never had a bartender yell at me for wasting her time before this place. Also overcharged me and got mad when I questioned the tab. Fun to goto if you're 18 but trashy bar. The bouncers and music are cool though.

Got kicked out for not tipping because my friend’s card didn’t work. Although I always tip the bartenders, she kicked me out for not tipping. Have to say I have lost a lot of respect for Mesquites. It’s a great bar, but the logic isn’t there. When I told her I’d give her money, she said “too late” and proceeded to have the bouncer take me out. Great times last night.
