Service was great. Espresso martini was not good at all. Brussel sprouts appetizer was extremely salty. The burger was pretty good and the hot honey sausage pizza was okay. Live music was fun! Just not at all worth the price. The old menu was much better.

Came here once and fell in love with the Midnight Shift Burger. It was SO AMAZING, and during my work trip, I ate it nearly every night. (shamefully) Came back on business again, and it wasn't the same!! I'm not sure what they changed about it, but it definitely did not have the same punch as I remembered it. I switched over to their Hot Honey pizza, and now THAT was delicious! I was surprised at how much I liked it. Order it! The staff at night is super friendly. During the morning though... they need help. There is not enough staff to carry the breakfast shift. Food during breakfast is okay.

Overall was a horrible experience. Our waiter was rude and took a long time to serve us when it was not busy at all. Waited for about 30 minutes for our food, and when it was brought out there was a DEAD FLY in my food. After bringing it to the servers attention he didn’t seem to care and was almost rude about it and I was still charged for the plate after having them remake me something else. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

Wow...what a big waste of time. Wanted to buy a gift certificate based on a review from a friend that lives in Lubbock. Nice facade when you drive up to the "front" but the entrance is not clearly marked. The door closest to Broadway which should be an entrance based on parking is locked, marked "Exir". Sent around the building to enter through the hotel courtyard to inquire about a gift card. Bartender seemed put out that I came in and said that they don't sell, should go to the hotel office/desk. So, left the restaurant, walked up to the door closest to the restaurant and it was locked. Walked back around to the Broadway side, entered and asked about a gift certificate. Gentleman at the desk said "nope, online only". So while not hard to get around Lubbock, BIG waste of time. What do folks do that don't have online access. Won't be getting a GC here. DO BETTER!

Nothing to write home about. With such a small selection you would think they could do better. Very pricey for what you get.

Burger was good. Fries were cold. Iced tea smelled like chlorine. Service was some of the worst in Lubbock, and that's really saying something.

Dinner at Midnight Shift last night. Noticed a van with a chef's name on it sitting on the curb when we pulled up, so was excited! Service was great, atmosphere was great, food was horrible. Husband had salmon rangoons that tasted like canned salmon. My hamburger tasted like and appeared to have been a pre-formed patty, cooked to obliteration. Seriously, it was almost black, tough and so dry that it was difficult to cut with a knife, much less try to bite into. Almost inedible. Friend had a chicken sandwich, which he commented had "very little chicken" on it. It's a shame! This is such a great place, but afraid we won't be back.

Went in for a drink and dinner. There was a wait for a table but there is so much outdoor space and things to see outside we didn’t mind. We found a shaded table and played Jenga while we waited. Sitting in the courtyard area made me want to stay at the attached hotel on my next trip. Drinks were a little pricey but were good. We both had a burger and they were both excellent. I had the special burger, can’t remember the name. But it was delicious! Sweet potato fries were fresh and well seasoned as well.

Sat down inside just a little before the kitchen closed. We were told by 3 different staff that the kitchen would be closing, but the bar would still be open. We ordered our drinks which were delivered (btw- an old fashioned should have one large solid ice cube as regular ice melts and waters down the drink. Additionally, don't put that cherry below the ice, we want access). The biggest disappointment was the staff member (not our waitress) that took our drink menu and told us that we would have to get further drinks from the bar (the one with 3 dozen cowboys blocking it). Our waitress told us that it was not true and that she had notified the manager, but our experience was already ruined. We opted to spend further money elsewhere.

This treasure of Lubbock should not be skipped over. I had the Midnight Burger and it was delightful. I miss the burger's flavor today, two days later. The service was outstanding. I cannot remember the name of the waitress, but she was kind enough to engage in me and my colleague's banter concerning movies and such. The atmosphere of this location is so relaxing and post-modern chic-esque. The menu is small and the location busy, which are both great signs of a wonderful place to stop for a bite. Lubbock is trash, but has this amazing hidden gem.

I normally don’t leave negative reviews but I’m very disappointed with this establishment. I brought my family here from out of town because I heard good things about it. When we arrived we waited outside for quite some time without any wait staff coming out. So we went inside to check if we needed to order inside. A waiter then said he would come out. He was extremely cold and rude the entire visit. Sorry, but if you work in this field, being at least a bit helpful and friendly is how you should present yourself. Because right off the bat, with his attitude we did not feel welcome at this restaurant. Our food was pretty average and for the prices, I feel that’s very disappointing. My pancakes were actually cold when they were brought out. Our waiter did not even ask if we wanted our bill split or together, instead just handed the check to us and ran off without a word. We then had to go back inside and ask for it to be split. He barely checked on us and did not provide a good experience at all. I would definitely not recommend stopping in, Lubbock has WAY better establishments.
