Olive Garden Italian Restaurant

Came to Olive Garden expecting endless soup, salad, and breadsticks. Left with one lonely soup option and a plate of food that tasted like it was going through an identity crisis.

The soup selection was so limited it felt like a pop quiz I didn’t study for — “Choose wisely, because there are no other choices.” The food itself had a… let’s call it mysterious flavor. Not bad enough to send back, but strange enough that my taste buds are still asking questions.

If this was supposed to feel like “when you’re here, you’re family,” then I must be the cousin they don’t like. Disappointing experience overall. Would not rush back.

Our server tonight was April and she was excellent!!!! The food was good but we will be back just for her. She was very attentive and super quick with refills and food. She was also very sweet and made us feel like family. Wonderful experience.

It was my first time coming and my server Jaycee was the most incredible server I've ever had. The food was good and she was so sweet and accommodating. I will definitely come here again !!

Our appetizer (calamari) was fresh and the bread was delicious. Our soup was so so but we were so hungry after waiting 30 mins to get a table we ate it. Our waitress was attentive! The manager asked everyone AROUND US how their food was but never asked us! Go figure! Typical Lubbock behavior!! I guess because we didn’t look like him! Smh You literally have to walk past our table to get to the other tables. It was freezing cold. Our food was gross. My husband and I had Alfredo and the noodles were gummy and the sauce was soooo thick and bland! I’ve had better at Fazolis! It was so loud plus freezing cold that I was just ready to go after that disgusting dinner was served. Smh $100 Never again!!

I was honestly surprised by how not good this trip to OG was. We ordered a chicken and gnocchi soup and it has canned chicken? I truly don’t remember ever having canned chicken but maybe thats my mistake. It was pretty bland and the chicken was inedible and we found ourselves picking it out. We even found a huge chunk of odd shaped chicken at the bottom of the bowl that was not appetizing. I Was also surprised that after tipping online, we were offered another tip screen when we went to pick it up. How much money do yall expect me to pay/tip for a pick up order? Not enough bowls or silverware either when you are ordering a soup that says it will feed 12, I had to use my real dishes and now have dishes to do when that was the point of ordering out. Probably won’t be back with how bland the soup was, I can’t afford $35 for a large soup and my own breadsticks because it says it doesn’t come with any breadsticks when you try to order online, just for it to be gross.

We’ve been to Olive Garden numerous times and it has always been a wonderful experience the staff, servers and managers have always been so welcoming unfortunately tonight all of this was not the case once we were seated our server came and took our drink order and appetizer order never asked if we would like any bread sticks she came back shortly with our drinks and they were wrong, then she returned with our appetizer it was fine next came our soups and salads the salads were wrong we specifically order them a certain way she came back with refills and we finally had to ask for bread sticks and once again the drinks were wrong she returned with 3 bread sticks. I asked her to bring me a Dr Pepper since the previous 3 sweet teas were incorrect and she still brought me the wrong drink I could over hear the table dinning next to us and their orders were not correct either they had to ask for the desert menu as it was not offered. We come to Olive Garden and pay for the experience as well as the food and it definitely fell short today. If this would have been McDonalds I would have expected the kind of service we received. Never saw the manager normally they come around introducing themselves which is nice. Tonight was definitely not worth what I paid.
