I've had 2 bad experiences. This 2nd time was completely absurd and unacceptable. My first experience my girlfriend and I went, my calzone was ice cold. Like it had come out of the fridge. I decided not to complain and just took it home and reheated it. This time, we went on Friday 2/5/2021 and waited WELL over an hour. The people around us arrived up to 20 minutes after us and got their food well before us. (We got 2 calzones and some Chicken Parm with spaghetti.) The chicken parm was just as cold as my calzone last time, and the spaghetti tasted like bland, watery, plastic. I'm not one to complain even if I don't like my meal, but considering my girlfriend couldn't barely stomach it we asked to speak to a manager. The manager came over and proceeded to tell us that if there's nothing wrong with the Chicken Parm, there was nothing wrong with the spaghetti. I politely told him i'm sorry, but for someone who never complains something must be wrong with it. He then told us he was going to take it to the back and try it for himself and he will just get a free plate of spaghetti to himself if it's fine. I'm really disappointed in how they responded to us after the wait, the poor service, and bad food both times. However, the location on Univetsity is top notch! Highly recommend.

This place is my go to for raviolis. Their lobster ravioli is the best! I'm new to Lubbock, but really enjoy this place.

My daughter was graduating from Texas Tech, so we made the trip to celebrate. Due to circumstances, we did not leave home until late in the day, which made us late in arriving in Lubbock. We checked into our VRBO, and then headed out to eat. As it was late, and with COVID running wild, the place she had picked for dinner was closed. So was the second place. That's when we decided to get pizza, and am I glad we did. This place was not nearby, but she said it was worth it. She was right:-) We drove up and found they were doing a pretty good business. Upon entering, we were greeted by the nicest young lady. She escorted us to our table, and nearly immediately, our waitress showed up. She was so nice and most helpful. We decided to split a small pizza and a Stromboli. They were delivered quickly, and our waitress suggested some dipping sauces would be the crowning touch. She got those for us quickly. We enjoyed all the food immensely but found it was too much for us to eat at that hour. Our waitress took care of our leftovers, and we got ready to depart. However, before we could leave, the manager stopped by to check on how they did. He was so nice that we ended up talking to him for about 30 minutes. During the conversation, I recommended he open 1 of these in Spring Branch. They are expanding, but not 6 hours away:-(. I wish I had written down the names of the people we engaged with. They were all top notch and should be recognized! Will I return? Definitely!

As I was eating it, I was thinking I could make this better. True, but then I realized that if I lived around here, I'd probably eat here pretty frequently. The price is good for what you get, large portions, and decent food. I ended up being happy trying a little bit of local food in Lubbock.

A co-worker of mine recommended this place to me but since I'm not a big pizza person I was in no rush to try it. Well, I finally gave it a try recently and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. I got the traditional cheese pizza and it was very delicious. The pizza style reminds me of New York style pizza with it being thin and foldable and I loved it. I'm glad I finally have them a try!

Went back for the first time in about a month, and this was the BEST pizza I have had in YEARS! Something has changed, and I'm not sure what it is, but it was AMAZING!! Great jobs, guys!

This was our first time coming here and I have to say, I was not disappointed with the pizza. The calamari on the other hand.. $8.50 and you do get a lot, but the flavor was just weird. They look like fried chicken and they don't really even taste like calamari. Maybe came frozen and out of a bag? Wouldn't recommend that one. I do recommend the pizza though!! If you like a lot of cheese, this is the pizza for you. Gooey cheese with every bite, not too much sauce so if you like a lot of sauce you'll need to ask for it, and just a great crust flavor and texture. Sooo good! And the 16" is great for two people to share. We still have 4 slices left over because it was way too big to eat all at once! Overall, it was a nice dinner. Everything was very clean, the table was wiped down before we sat, the waitress was so sweet and they put us away from where other people were sitting so we social distanced. I believe the owner or manager came up to us and asked us how the food was and thanked us for coming in. Definitely will be coming back here!

I stopped by One Guy from Italy on a recommendation from a friend during a cross country road trip, and it was WORTH IT. I didn't order ahead, just walked up to order to-go. I had a pretty simple pizza, cheese with black olives. The to-go service was friendly, polite, and all employees were wearing masks. It didn't take too long waiting inside for my to-go order, and they have benches you can sit on. I felt pretty safe for most of the time inside. I will say that the wait staff didn't really adhere to social distancing specifically with customers. When I was in one area of the restaurant waiting for my order, a couple of waitresses chose to stand very close to me to gossip about whatever was going on during their shift. I ended up moving and it is a big enough space that it wasn't an issue. Most dine-in customers were not wearing masks.I took the pizza to-go, and it was DELICIOUS! Their crust has the perfect amount of crispiness on the outside, with a chewy inside. My only mistake was not ordering something a little more exciting, I'm sure it would have been delicious! Everything tasted really fresh, and overall I thought it was awesome. I will make a point to end up in Lubbock again someday just to visit this restaurant again!
