I had lunch with a customer here on 10/22 around 11:30. We were warmly welcomed and immediately seated. After reviewing the enormous menu for a few minutes, I decided on the Italian sausage casserole because I was craving mushrooms. It came with a soup or salad, so I chose the potato and green chili soup. It was creamy with just the right amount of kick from the chilis. And just when I was finishing up my soup, the casserole arrived. It was meaty and cheesy and full of yummy mushrooms...
I've eaten here for many years... sadly, it is not the same. It's location (down town) is hurt by rising crime, so that it is harder to get help who want to risk it. Outside parking lot lights would help. The food is good but it used to be excellant! Some dishes are! Skimping on chips, garlic bread and such (no soft drinks there while we were there.) are evident. One waitress for 3 parties, and 1 table... refills are few... All fixable things. Use Angel hair pasta for...
