Update (8/20/25) I missed the response from management - thank you so much for the offer! I don’t think I’ll have much need for a gift certificate. Food is still good, but service is not great; and I don’t want to pay $5. For 3/4s of a tiny mushroom, four slices of squash, 4 pieces of broccoli, and two small cherry tomatoes (side of mixed veggies - I’m hoping google lets me add a picture…)
(Six years prior to the “update”) This has been a favorite of mine since I moved to Lubbock in 2002. Unfortunately over the last year, we’ve steadily decreased our visits due to the decline in service. I finally decided to change my review because the service has been consistently bad. Out of the last 6 or 7 visits this year, i have only had two with no issues. This is the first time there’s been an issue with food, though.
I decided to choose Orlando’s for an early birthday celebration this weekend (10/21/18) and things did not go well. The kitchen did not complete two of the five plates on our ticket (we had 7 in the group total), the green chile in the soup and on one of the plates were mostly skins. The birthday thing was requested by one of our group; it didn’t happen. There were other issues this time, but management made the situation right. During other visits, the issues have been relatively minor, but consistent (hence why it’s taken over a year to change the review...)
After being a loyal patron for over 15 years (and my husband even longer - as he’s from Lubbock), we’re not sure when we’ll go back (4 stars because i do think the food is good!! Just frustrated with the consistently poor service)

Orlando’s is one of my favorite local restaurants. Always a great experience. Sunday all you can eat spaghetti is great for the whole family.

Orlando’s is consistently a Lubbock favorite. Somebody is sick? Bring them Orlando’s. Having people over? Get Orlando’s. Dine in at either location for great pizza and pasta.

I have been coming here for a very long time. I enjoy their honey wheat crust pizza. I make my own with chicken, fresh tomatoes, and bell peppers. It is very good and they put plenty of toppings. Plus, the crust is really good. I highly recommend coming for very good pizza.

They have great hamburgers. Friendly staff. The doors are easy to open when you're using a walker.
