Papa V’s has ALWAYS been a staple in our weekly household food. The BEST true Italian style pizza pies you will ever taste. The slices are SO massive you can only eat one. This is about them going ABOVE & BEYOND with customer service though!! We will continue to get pizza pies every week here as long as we live here!!!
We stopped in for dinner tonight & the place was packed. The service was pleasant as always but the food was just not up to par as we are used to. We ordered a large pizza but we usually get the medium. I ordered it with extra cheese. When it came out the crust was more like thin & crispy as if the same amount of pizza dough used for a medium is just stretched out more for the large than it is for a medium, the crust was very chewy & the edges were burned. Some of the absolute best pizza in Lubbock! They go above and beyond to make your pizza to perfection, they come and check on every table to make sure everything was done right. Love Papa V and all his stories, that he loves to talk about while you dine in! Meatball appetizer is delicious!!
