What a gem! Shame on us for not knowing that Lubbock has a small batch rum/vodka distillery! We happened to see their sign while having lunch on Saturday and stopped by on a whim. Had some samples, a tour of the distillery, gained some new information about the process of making spirits and took home some rum! They brew about 700 bottles during the week and open on Saturdays from 1- 4 for free tastings/tour. You can also purchase $5 cocktails- made with their rum/vodka as well. Take a Saturday and go visit!!

We happened across Pinkerton's Distillery while in the area on a Saturday afternoon. I am really glad that we stopped by. We had a few tastings of their products (and went home with a few bottles). The Master Distiller was onsite to give us a tour of the facilities and give us a little insight on the processes. I had no idea that we had such a high quality distillery right here in Lubbock. This will be me new place to stock up on run. If you are interested in a tour, drop by on a Saturday and see what is happening inside, you will be glad that you did.

Great little distillery. The samples were amazing. Had to take to home some bottles and swag.

Local and fantastic! Annie described the Gold Rum perfectly as I enjoyed the complimentary sample today. Walked out immediately after with my first bottle. Highly recommend!

Great tour, great product. This is local business at its best. I recommend the Gold Rum. Neat tour, too.

My husband found this place online while researching other distilleries. We went to the tour on Saturday. The process is really neat and the owner is very friendly and personable. The rum is pretty great too! I would recommend this place to anyone who is curious about the liquor distilling process and don't forget to buy a bottle of West Texas rum.
