Say come on in at the door stand there for a while so we went and sat ourselves then 5 minutes later we had a rude waitress say we needed to get up and wait to be repeated. This is second time being here and same vibe one of if your not white your not welcome .

Incredible, friendly and efficient service, excellent food cute space. Standouts were the French toast, fries, homemade salsa and homemade ranch. We are four very happy eaters!

This restaurant has the best French toast I've ever had. I ate it all and wasn't able to include a picture, but here's one of the best fries I've ever had. The staff is wonderful too!!

Warm and welcoming staff, and very stellar food: the crusted French toast is worth the drive alone. I had the chicken and waffles with ranch and shared the French toast with my wife. We'll stop back in the next time we're in town.

Place takes forever do not recommend ! ordered French Toast and it took an hour to make and is still not here... No gluten free options and there was a roach crawling on the floor !(disgusting) also the waiter had crack teeth ): Finally got my french toast and I could have 100% made better and they only gave me a tiny cup of syrup (I am a grown man)!! The egg is so watery it's spilling across my plate!

My fiancee and I went to Lubbock for a birthday party and ate at the Rain Cafe. It was totally amazing! The food was outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Order the crusted French Toast; you won't regret it! Ask for Felipita! Her service is the best I have ever seen. Be prepared to be impressed!

We came upon this restaurant by chance, but so glad we did. The food was delicious, and the waitress was so friendly. Will definitely be back next time I am in Lubbock.

Came here for the first time with my dad, he had been but wanted to show me this place. I ended up ordering what they have labeled as “chopped sirloin steak” with sautéed onions and brown gravy. The onions and the gravy was there… the chopped sirloin steak was not. It was Salisbury steak instead which is fine, I like Salisbury steak but the meat wasn’t even the good quality ground beef either. They also added mushrooms into the gravy which I don’t like. But at least they added corn in the side.

Everybody seemed to enjoy their meal, from french toast, to pork chop, eggs, hash browns and toast. The sirloin steak was so tough and sinewy that it was inedible. Server was nice and kept the coffee flowing.

FOOD: The food is really good! The ham steak on the breakfast plate is cut really thin, I prefer a thick ham steak with breakfast. The omelet that my son ordered was good. The over medium eggs that I ordered were perfectly cooked. The French toast is dipped and rolled in oatmeal and cereal, which is supposedly their signature dish. However, I found that French toast wet in the center, so I did not like it. But my son loved it. It's covered in powdered sugar, which I prefer not to have. The coffee is really good, it's Starbucks Pike Place.SERVICE: We went there on a Sunday morning and the service was great, fast, efficient. The food did not take long to come out. The waitress was cheery, happy, informative, and circled back to the table numerous times to refill our coffee. We were in and out within the hour.ATMOSPHERE: The chairs are not the most comfortable, the decor is Industrial style. It was a cold winter day, 24° outside, and the restaurant was cold inside. We had to sit near the kitchen to feel a little warmth.OVERALL: We are from Houston and it was our first time there. Great food, great service, clean restaurant! I DO HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR BREAKFAST!

Hands down the best breakfast spot in town if you're looking for that homely diner feel. The service is phenomenal, our waitresses have even remembered our order and drink preferences! A must visit!
