Best doughnuts in Lubbock. The service is great. They are very busy in the morning so you may not always get a chatty employee but how could they be any better. I noticed lots of people complaining about friendly hell they are nice. They do a good job. If you want some to suck up to you just leave. But if you want great food. And good price you can’t go wrong. Heck once I came in and my card had expired they told me it’s ok and gave me my food and I paid the next day. I’m Sorry but if that ain’t great service I don’t know what more you could ask for. My nephews from New York love coming to Lubbock just for Rise n Shine.

If a business opens at 5am you’d think they’d have their product available at that time .. don’t expect that here .. I was told by counter guy “bakers get here at 3am” not sure what they have been doing the last 2 hours but baking isn’t it .. nothing but stuff made from the day before was available…horrible experience … not to mention this is another chance I gave them since last time they didn’t give me all of my order but of course made sure to charge me for it…prices are too high for mediocre quality…won’t be back…

This place use to be so good but my past 3 visits including today have been awful.All I want is a nice warm Kolache and Maple Donut. Instead I received a very cold, shriveled and stale donut and a Kolache that looked good but was too cold to eat. So gross.I want fresh donuts in the morning. If stale and cold is something I was looking for I would go to the Supermarket.
