Charge 30 cents for a packet of ketchup. That is absolutely wild... but gotta have it so I paid for 5. 3 were delivered with the rest of my stunningly cold meal. NASTY!

This is my absolute favorite Sonic drive in for Monday-Friday. I don’t know what happens on the weekends there, but more often than not, they do not give me what I ordered. I go daily to get 2 cherry limeade slushes with extra cherry. Monday-Friday there is never a single problem and the drinks are made phenomenally. Saturday and Sunday come and I have to drive across town to a different Sonic because the employees there don’t seem to be able to tell the difference between the watermelon and the cherry flavors. Sadly, I’ve always HATED watermelon and anything watermelon flavored. It literally makes me sick. But Monday through Friday I would highly recommend this location. Saturday and Sunday I would advise everyone to stay away especially if you’re ordering any drink with cherry flavor in it!

Drive thru operator says they do not have double cheeseburgers on their menu - I explain I’m looking it it. “Well, it’s wrong.” I can’t argue with her - she says they don’t make them. Completely oblivious to the menu where she works - do better or train more. Ignorance is intolerable in fast food. It’s just a waste of time and money.

This location has consistently messed up my order on multiple occasions over the last 6 months. Drinks not made incorrectly. Not providing food as ordered and quality is sub par. Not providing condiments as requested. The gravy is salty and gritty and not the correct consistency ever! When I order from the location on Milwaukee, I never have these issues. It’s disappointing that I have to travel to a further location just to ensure I receive decent quality of food and what I actually order.

I hate reviewing them because it’s just a fast food restaurant, but chance after chance they disappoint. Whether it’s having a 30 minute wait when nobody is there, sent the wrong order, or order through the app 15 minutes beforehand and it’s still not ready, they seriously get it wrong every time.
I found different little pieces of random stuff in my cup of ice I had only ordered 2 route 44 cups of ice and as I was eating my ice I noticed little pieces in the cup.

Bruh wait here for 30 minutes for them just to take my order then when they finally take my order I have to wait another 30 minutes just for them to deliver my food would not recommend this sonic go to a different one. One star.

Ordered from app the bacon cheeseburger, and it didn't come with bacon on it. Then I asked for groovy sauce, and of course, it didn't come either. My teenager wasn't happy when we got home. Ruined his whole meal. Of course no one answered.

Tonight I ordered a garlic butter bacon cheeseburger with no onions and the first time it’s brought to me, it had onions.
It happens, I let them know, and they make me a new one, pretty quickly too.
I should’ve known when it was that quick. Because the meat on the burger was cold. It looked cooked but it was very cold and I took that bite still at sonic immediately after it was given to me so it wasn’t on me. Hope I don’t get sick because idk how long that patty had been sitting there, the second bite I realized and spit it out and threw it away. What a waist of $12. Didn’t even bother having them remake it again as I’m no longer hungry and just don’t think I’ll eat tonight. Thanks for ruining my dinner. (The lady who brought me my food was very kind though)

Such a frustrating experience the Sonic on south Slide in Lubbock! The girl who took our order was struggling. Ex: I would say extra pickles and she would enter no pickles. I would say tots and fries were on the screen...This was with every item on the order. She gave me the final total but when I went to swipe my card, the total suddenly dropped by over $10. No one responded to the button so I figured I'd see what we get when the food comes out so as not to cause further confusion at this point. Food comes out and there's one whole combo that's missing. Easy fix, or so I thought. Instead of just making and charging us for the that one combo..they make it, say they are refunding the original charge and charging us a new total...that's less than the original charge...so now, $16 less than what we were originally told. She is also extremely rude and will not give us the food till we pay for the new total..even though we've already paid more than what she is currently telling us is the total...??..longer story short, after speaking with the manager, who couldn't explain why the totals kept going down, who was not all concerned with the order being wrong, and who was overly concerned about making sure that one drink was the right size (it was correct) here we sit with cold food that's not how we ordered it and me hoping that I don't have a bunch of bogus charges on my account because someone wasn't taught to use a register correctly. I tried reaching out to someone above the manager just make sure they know whats happening at thier store, and try to make sense of charges situation, but with no luck. So here's to hoping someone will reach back out....

My out of state guests had a $57+ order. They got to my home and 2 items were missing.
I spoke with a manger who could not resolve the issue. He passed me off ti another manager and her solution was to have us come back to get the missing items. If she could give the a ticket if done sort to get the missing items next visit.
The only option was for us to go back down after coming home to eat , find items missing and get those missing items so the others could eat .
So I went to pick up those items. Slckucjed the little red button and asked for the Manager by name. The young lady that answered said there was no one there but that name……. So I asked for the lady manager. When she came I asked her name and it was the exact name I requested. Extremely frustrating and irritating to be lied to. So go continue….. Clearly if my guests are from out of state the “ticket” was useless since there was no Sonic near them.
This is not the first time to happen at the south Slide Sonic. Maybe it’s time consider another fast food venue.
