I wish I could have liked this cupcakes- but they literally had no taste to the cakes and were very dry. The icing was good but not great and for $5 a piece- they should have been great! It was more a novelty to kiddos to go and buy since the storefront is adorable but was it worth it? I would say go elsewhere

My daughter in law is pregnant and wanted a cupcake from this place. Stopped by at 8:50 on a Saturday night. (They close at 9:00) Walked in and they had cupcakes in the display case.
The guy working inside told me to get the cupcake from the ATM. I am thinking to myself why can't I have one out of the case instead of going to an ATM? Why have a store front only to send me outside and do it myself.
I was also blown away by the price. $5.50 for a normal sized cupcake. I don't mind paying an inflated price but I want a larger cupcake. Not sure this place will make it unless portion sizes increase or prices come down. I can make a dozen cupcakes for $5.50.
I'm not so sure Dena H's review is legit. Her review reads more like an advertisement than someone who has actually patronized the store.

Ive had sprinkles before they came to Lubbock, and the cupcakes were always good. However, for some reason unbeknownst to me, i say chains come to lubbock to die. 2nd day of operation in the city of lubbock and my cupcakes were hard dry and old. How do you manage to do that so quickly? The cupcakes did not meet the standard. Not only did they not meet the standard, over priced as well. Go to D'Lish in lubbock. Locally owned. Actually made "fresh with the finest ingredients." A simple fix for sprinkles, either add more water or more oil to make it moist. Any baker would know to add more liquid. (You can tell sprinkles doesn't know what they're doing) experience is the best teacher ??♂️??♂️
Update: recently gave another try, the cupcakes have improved so much! Its like a whole different quality cupcake! Moist and soft. Taste great! It now tastes like I remember the other sprinkles Ive been to.

Went in today to get some mini cupcakes and cupcakes for our son who had an accomplishment at his Jujitsu class. The gal was super helpful. I wish I would have asked for her name she had a blonde ponytail with straight hair.
She recommended some flavors and was patient with my daughter picking a flavor. My sister was visiting and we had been to the location in California and she definitely wowed us with her attention.
The location is small, but very clean and we will be back.

I ordered off of Door dash and was super excited to try these for the first time only to find my cupcakes were very dryyyy. Idk if I was sold an old batch or what but 3 cupcakes for almost $20 only to be dry with hard frosting is so disappointing. Waste of money. I thought I'd be getting fresh, moist and soft cupcakes.

Let me start by saying this was for the cupcake atm...my daughter and I were sooo excited to try this! The concept is super fun and the atm was easy to use... THE BAD PART..? The cake was completely stale. For 5.50 you expect a cupcake to be fresh and moist. This was very dry and just like something from the day old bread store. So sad because my daughter had been there twice to try it. The first time there were only a few options left in there. I hope the cakes can be figured out because the concept and location are great.
Very disappointed- we were excited to try this and went for a late night cupcake atm run to order a cupcake. The atm took our money then opened up and there was no cupcake. There was no way to troubleshoot or fix the issue and we did not get our money back.

Everyone I know is always excited to receive a Sprinkles cupcake! My personal favorites are red velvet, vegan red velvet, salted caramel, cinnamon, carrot cake, strawberry, and coconut (limited time).1. Menu: There are several choices and a constant rotation of new featured flavors. No explanation needed on classic flavors like strawberry and vanilla and a description is provided under the featured flavors.2. Accommodations: You can walk in, order online and pick up in store, order and have the cupcakes delivered, or purchase cupcakes from the 2 vending machines in town.3. Customer service: Excellent customer service! The gentleman working up front, Christian, is always so kind! He is very personable and truly makes our experience wonderful every time we’re walk in to Sprinkles. He is very genuine about his personal favorite flavors and what he recommends.4. Portions: The cupcakes are huge!! Much larger than other cupcakes spots around town. I have tried others and keep coming back to Sprinkles. When a ordering cupcake, you obviously want a large amount of frosting. Otherwise, I would buy a muffin. They do have a monthly mini sampler set with 3 featured flavors.5. Quality: The cupcakes are baked fresh daily in the morning. The cupcakes are rich and full of flavor. There are some flavors like strawberry that are sweeter and vanilla that is milder.6. Cost: These are gourmet cupcakes that are large in size, and that is reflected in the price. The biggest downfall is that there is no bulk discount price. I do wish Sprinkles would offer a bulk discount.If you are thinking about trying this place, I would give it a shot.
