I only intended to go through the drive through. There was a bit of a wait but the staff was pleasant and my order was ready by the time I got to the window. This was the first time I've been to this Starbucks and there was no where to park. I really appreciate my order being taken and filled properly!!

i ordered a grilled cheese mobile order and they literally gave me a cheese stick with a sticker on it that says “grilled cheese warmed.”

I recently had a frustrating experience at this Starbucks location. My friend and I placed a simple order online for three basic drinks and food items, thinking it would save time. We even gave the staff extra time by waiting in the parking lot for a few minutes before driving up to the window. There was no line and the store was empty, with just 30 minutes left until closing.
However, when we reached the window, the barista greeted us with a snarky remark: "Next time, you should wait at least five minutes after placing your order before coming to the drive-thru." This isn’t a company policy and felt completely unnecessary. We were simply trying to make things easier by ordering ahead—something that actually gave him more time than he would have had if we’d ordered directly at the window, which would have taken even longer.
As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 2 ½ years, I’ve been frustrated with customers before, but I’ve never told them how to behave or acted like I was in charge. It felt like we were being scolded for doing nothing wrong, and the whole interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. To top it off, the employee works in a tipped position, where good customer service should be a priority, yet we were met with a power trip instead.
I expect better from Starbucks, and this experience was far from what I’ve come to expect from the brand.

I recently visited this Starbucks location, and the experience was far from pleasant. My friend and I ordered three simple food items and three easy drinks online. To make things easier, we even waited a few minutes in the parking lot before going through the drive-thru, expecting a quick and smooth process. The store was empty—no line, no rush—and it was 30 minutes before closing.
Despite all this, the employee at the window greeted us with a sarcastic comment: "For future reference, you should wait at least five minutes after placing an order before getting in line." This isn't part of company policy, and it felt like he was just giving us instructions to make his job easier, even though our drinks would have taken less than a minute to prepare. My friend, who’s a barista, confirmed this.
What’s frustrating is that we were already doing the store a favor by ordering ahead. If we had walked up to the window and ordered like you traditionally do at Starbucks, it would’ve taken even longer for them to make our order. So, by ordering in advance, we were giving them extra time that they wouldn’t have had otherwise, and yet, we were still being told how to behave as if we had done something wrong.
As someone with over 2 ½ years of experience in the service industry, I understand frustration, but I have never told a customer how to act or bossed them around. This employee's attitude was completely inappropriate. Not to mention, he’s working a tipped job, so you’d think he’d focus more on delivering a positive experience rather than telling customers what to do. I have worked in fast food for years and have had to do flips to help customers when it was extremely inconvenient but would never command customers like they worked for me.
I expect better from Starbucks have had lovely experiences with customer service even in their busiest hours. Crazy that this experience happened when it was slow. I hope this location improves their customer service and this employee has much better shifts regarding his attitude towards customers.

The coffee was great most days but the last day was not the same. There were different people that day and they need more training.

I asked to reload my card & and the cashier was trying to charge both reload & purchase together. I said no no reload my card & take it out of my starbies card they couldn't figure it out so I had to have them charge my starbies card & reload it after on top of reload I didn't notice that they added a 1 dollar tip with I did not add smh. On top of that, our drinks did not taste like a white mocha it tasted just like coffee with a sweetener in it. This, by far, has been a bad experience. I will definitely not be going to this starbies anymore on 2414 Mac Davis Lane TX 79401

We were in town moving our daughter and used the drive thru - we needed an energy boost! Tamara was working the window and absolutely made our day!! Our order was right and the drinks were well made, but her energy and positive attitude carried with me for the rest of the day!! We’ll definitely visit this location again next time we’re in town, even as the drive thru gets longer with school starting lol

I get a Cold Americano with 2 pumps of cinnamon and 3 pumps of toffee nut with cinnamon cold foam topped with Carmel and cinnamon and dolce topping and EVERYTIME I go to this location I have to ask them to remake it and it’s still wrong. Every other location in Lubbock can make it right but this location cannot. I have to complain every time and waist not only my money my time for them to not read the tag and make it right. This location is HORRIBLE and needs to get new workers that can read and make a coffee correct.

The people here are always so kind and go above and beyond. I have never been to another Starbucks anywhere that has staff that's even half as amazing as this one.
