I didn't like anything about Taco Villa. It's Fly factory!!! The tables were nasty. They had 1/2 price drinks and my friend wanted to go there. This was a disgusting place to eat ??.

I’ve been eating at taco villas for over 40 years probably close to 45. This is the worst location in Lubbock tonight. I got a taco salad as I usually do. There is no beef on it. There is no guacamole on it and they just keep getting smaller and smaller, I won’t go to this location again because they have messed up my order at least three times in the past and today just top it off I don’t have time to go back to the store to point out the mistake and have them argue with me as they have in the past. Eat at taco Villa most of them are good. This one is not.

Nowadays, you never know what you're gonna get with customer service. It's almost got me to actually thinking about staying home to cook! Haha! Blah! I ordered a meat burrito and small drink. When I paid, it was much less than I expected but I thought maybe that was because of Happy Hour. Got home and discovered I'd received a crispy taco in the bag. Seriously. Called the store and manager made it right but why should I have to do that!?!

The Food Dude

This was one of the worst fast food mexican chains I have ever been to. The food was so awful and lacked quality. The salsas were not very good either, and their menu is pretty limited. I would recommend going to tacobell or somewhere else.

Did this place change management/ownership recently? Prices have gone up (again), but portions have gone down, also. Ten bucks for a couple of taquitos (sold as “burritos”…) just isn’t worth it.

The drive-thru experience here is always bad. They will interrupt you mid order, every single time. I only ever order like 3 things too, it's not like im reading off a list here. Despite only ordering a few items, they will inevitably get it wrong. This could be solved if they would just read the order back to you, but they won't do that. They might even ask if you want hot sauce, then they'll give you salsa when they realize they don't have any more hot sauce handy. I have been sitting on this review for probably years, just chalking it up to single individuals; but in that time the faces have changed, and the problems remain the same. I don't think I have ever seen a smiling employee at this place, and now I can't help but wonder if there is a reason for that, and if that reason is also the cause of the poor experience. If anyone in charge is reading this, I hope you'll put it to the test and see for yourself. I used to have a taco villa addiction, but the experiences I have had, at this location specifically, cured me of that.

Ordered online and tried to pick up at drive thru - I was told that online orders had to be picked up inside. I presumed this was due to some sort of customer validation, but no, arriving inside, I was handed the food with no need to prove who I was. So, I fail to see what the point of a policy like that is as it seems to just inconvenience the customer, there weren't any other customers in the drive thru and the food was done when I walked in, so it is not as though I would be holding up the line. This location has always seemed to have weird policies that make no sense, but this one was very annoying.Additionally, when I went inside, two different employees looked right at me and refused to acknowledge me. One of the two was just walking around the cashier station aimlessly until the person I presume to be the manager, who was working the line at the time, directly instructed the cashier to deal with me. Even then, they didn't speak a word to me, just handed me my food and walked away.Props to the manager for working on the line and not just delegating everything to their staff, but my impression is that they do so because their staff can't do their jobs without hand holding. This location needs better customer service training so that customers aren't left just standing there until a manager comes along.
