I’m giving this 5 stars as for starters I loved talking to the guy at the window, he has a great charisma about him and is very relatable. Secondly, as someone that came here on a cheat day, I can tell that what I got (eggs/potatoes/beans) is not completely doused in butter and oils (as much) which almost gives it a more genuine taste? Of course it’s not as good as those that are sometimes drenched in those but it’s a fine burrito for the price and that is what I was looking...
Lubbock during graduation weekend makes finding a popular place to eat that doesn't have an hour wait challenging. We like hole in the wall places and Texas Burrito seems to fit that description. The man at the window was extremely nice, burritos were ready within a couple of minutes, and the price was pretty reasonable for the size of the burritos.
