Egg drop soup was not heavy and overbearing in eggy flavor, very light. Lao sausage was SO delicious. Light, but grilled well and the filled was fresh with onion herbs and I think mint. This would be such a great breakfast 🤌🏻 Pad thai - he asked for spicy, like punishingly hot and it barely had heat. It was a little too sweet but it still tastes good. The on-table chili oil helped a lot. Pad ginger was very fresh and light, a healthy choice, chicken was a little dry but it all have great flavor!! All their rice was perfectly cooked. The jasmine tea was great and an ample pot size!
The dining room is very cozy and cute, I love the curtains.
Definitely want to come back and try a few other things, I am glad it's in walking distance to me. But we definitely want *heat* when we ask for spicy. And if anyone asks for it and complains, that's a them probablem lol

Friendly staff. Placed an order to go at the counter with no wait. Our total was just under $60 (with tax) for 4 meal BUT each entre is more than enough food for two meals, in my opinion. Our order was ready in 12 minutes on a Friday night at dinner time. 😌
Almond chicken- I’ve never had it before, it reminded me of chicken noodle soup. I would say this is two servings. Would get again. Came with steamed white rice.
Chicken fried rice- lightly sauced compared to most places. I do wish it had more veggies in it. Good amount of chicken and egg for the price. This plate is at least 2 meals, I would say 3. Would get again.

I was really looking forward to trying this place, based on so many positive reviews. I had the chicken satay for an app, and that old standby pad Thai for main.
The satay came out looking like a fail: The chicken was bright yellow and had only a few dark edges to show it had been grilled. Turned out it had been: The texture was old shoe leather, and it was nearly impossible to eat, tasteless and so dry. The peanut dipping sauce didn't taste like peanuts or anything else. Just... nothing.
Pad Thai looked great, but once again, there was absolutely no flavor. The sauce had an unpleasantly artificial taste; I wound up adding a lot of chili-garlic sauce and soy sauce to make it taste like *something* besides a grocery-store jarred peanut sauce that had been sitting long past its sell-by date.
My companion's potstickers and sesame chicken were deemed okay; they did not finish their portions but did get a go bag.
