The Farmhouse Restaurant

Went in with a party of 10 last monday the waitress was great she sat us quickly and had our drinks to us immedietly took our order immedietly but the wait for the food was horrible i get it 10 ppl is a lot but there were at least 15 to 18 ppl who came in got seated got there food ate and left while we were waiting for ours i know big parties are hard but our food was cold only one of the meals was hot and delicious all out outta town ppl decided they would not be coming back to this restaurant again and we sat there almost 2 and a half hours and ended taking most of it home since we had already sat there that long and the potatos were raw! So sad i really was disappointed in them !

It was gross and not edible. The Belgian waffles tasted like old grease and had chunks of charred food in it that I had to pick out. The bacon and sausage were burnt. Do not eat here.

Waffles shouldn’t taste like used grease. The smell and flavor of old grease were so strong in our eggs and Belgian Waffles. I know I’m not a food critic, but I’m from a small town with a population of less than 200 people, so my standards are pretty low.

they advertise a three egg omelette and I maybe had one egg and 90% vegetables. When I brought it to the waitress’s attention, she went and talked to the Cook and they said there was nothing they could do about it. Probably one of the worst breakfast I’ve had. You would get a better value at McDonald’s.

Took my other half to eat breakfast 2/23/25 service was bad our order took to long and when we did get our food they brought out me and my grandkids food only my other half had to wait another 10min or so for her oat meal and when she received her oatmeal it had a hair in her bowl we will not eat at this place again

So extremely angry with the owner. We had an amazing waitress and saw her leave crying. We spent a while waiting with open tables and the food was good not great. One of our plates was missing hash browns . After letting our waitress know she spent sometime in the back trying to get our order correct when our whole table heard the owner of the store belittle her saying, “I didn’t pay $400,000.00 on this place for YOU to tell me what to do.” After that our waitress came back with tears in her eyes and after we checked out she left while we did crying her eyes out. She must have been a high school student or college student and this jerk of an owner treated her less than a human. We will NEVER be coming to this place EVER again.

Farmhouse "chic". A bit noisy, as the dining room is has very high ceilings.
The pulled pork fries are HUGE, &. Delicious.

My French toast was as black as me. Who eats burnt toast? But the eggs and sausage were great. My first experience was not that great.

If you’re ever in the Lubbock area YOU NEED TO TRY THIS PLACE OUT! There was a wait but it’s well worth it! The prices were amazing for the amount of food you get. The service was amazing as well! Ashley, girl did her thang! We WILL be going back to try lunch or another breakfast plate next time we are in Lubbock!

Kid-friendliness: They gave a kid a high chair for her babydoll! Super sweet and thoughtful!

Ordered takeout, made the mistake of not checking before we left. Given part of some one else’s and the eggs were over done on top of it. Not the first time but will be the last as won’t be going back.

Bad experience. Took a while to get our food. It was delivered, but lacking utensils for at least 10 min. Pancake had raw batter in it. One burrito was wrong. Waited an ungodly amount of time for milk for oatmeal. No refills on drinks were ever offered. Not impressed with this place. It's really hard for me not to leave a tip, but I just couldn't do it. Plenty of other staff just standing around, but not pitching in. Waitress biggest offering to us was excuses.

We went on a Saturday morning around 8. There weren't many people (about 3 other tables). My husband and I both ordered the Cali Benedict. Both came out cold. We sent them back. The server didn't even apologize. When they came back out, the eggs were still cold. I went to the restroom to wash my hands. It looked like a truck stop bathroom with poop all over the toilet and on the wall. This place is definitely not a do over for us!
