They have such good bbq here. I went out there today and they had something new I’ve never tried before. It is so good. It’s a green chili pork Caldo. I think anytime that I might be feeling bad or under the weather I’m gonna go out there and get some of that. It is total comfort food. I added a picture of it. Go get some. It is so good.All of that being said, all of their barbecue is always really good.

Incredible brisket. Best I've ever had. No kidding! Delicious Mac 'n Cheese. Sweet Tea rival Chicken Express. Cole slaw was ok. I like mine with less vinegar. Sweet sauce was really good, with just a little kick. Best brisket BBQ I've had in Lubbock.
I ordered the chopped brisket and also the grilled chicken, definitely the best barbecue I’ve had in this town! The staff is also very friendly and the food comes out very quick. This place is also B.Y.O.B. which is even better! The food is always cooked to perfection and the sides are delicious. My girlfriend loved the Mac and cheese that they had and I enjoyed the loaded potato salad. They have a large selection of barbecue. This spot is definitely a go-to for barbecue!

I’ve been to The Shack multiple times and each time I’m not only pleased with the food but also with the friendly service. Evie Mae’s gets a lot of attention in Lubbock, but I believe that The Shack is better, plus you don’t have to compete with the lines. Make sure to get their Apple Pie Cheesecake! Great way to top off a delicious meal.

We are from New Mexico and in town for a volleyball tournament. We stoped by The Shack BBQ and had wonderful customer service. The employees were awesome and very friendly. The food was great and flavorful. Our family will be coming back every time we’re in town.
