I used to order my coffee from a company out of state. Although the beans were roasted when you ordered, I’d still have to wait almost a week before it would arrive to me. So I love having a local roaster here in town no more lengthy waits. Beans are always fresh and have a fantastic flavor no matter which roast it is. Including the fact they are well priced! If you enjoy making lattes or flavored drinks their syrups and sauces are excellent as well. Amazing customer service. Tierras Planas has been hands down my favorite place to get my coffee.

Fantastic local roaster!!! Every single bag I've tried has been amazing. The owner is so nice and helpful. It's a staple for me. The decaf has made great espresso shots for me! I'm excited to try anything they have. So far it's all been really great. Highly recommend going out there and grabbing some beans while you have a chat with the owner, he knows his coffee!

I had this coffee at the Lubbock farmers market while visiting a friend and I was instantly HOOKED! It's my favorite coffee. I live about 7 hours away from Lubbock and my beans are always delivered a day or two after roasting. The sellers are so sweet, even leaving little notes on the delivery. Definitely recommend!

Tierras Planas is the BEST cup of coffee I have ever had. Every roast is beautiful and delicious every time. The people that work there are also fantastic. I love ordering my coffee and reading the little notes they frequently leave on the invoice, along with the occasional freebie, though those are understandably far less likely, lol. They have ruined other coffees for me with their complex, flavorful roasts and amazing customer service. They are truly a Gem of Lubbock.

I’m especially thankful for them having Ethiopian varietals as well as Tanzanian too. Can’t beat the lovely berry notes of a perfectly roasted Africa sourced bean!
