Torchy's Tacos

Great experience every time we visit. Meghan truly went the extra mile by keeping our babies entertained, making them smile and laugh, which allowed my wife and me to enjoy our meal. She kept a positive attitude the entire time while still taking great care of other guests as well. She also made sure our to-go order was set up with everything we needed. The place was clean and welcoming. We love coming here.

I just came through got some stuff, didn't check my bag, missing basically all sauces side avocado and my chips and queso. No biggie I'll just call and get it some other time.
I call the number from Google and they told me they can't do anything they just take Togo orders!?
Then I go try to get the number from the receipt and THERE ISN'T ONE!!!!
I'm so upset that there's nobody to make this right!! I live on the other side of town I can't just go back at the drop of a hat!

Stopped by this location expecting something a step above fast food… and unfortunately, that expectation wasn’t met.

The food looked like junk and, honestly, tasted like junk. Not inedible, but not enjoyable either. My tacos were overly salty to the point of being distracting, and overall the flavors felt flat and heavy. If I’m being blunt, even Chipotle tastes better. This firmly falls into “college food” territory—quick, greasy, and forgettable.

The space itself didn’t help the experience. The lobby felt unkept, with tables not being cleared or wiped down, which immediately lowered confidence before the food even arrived. Staff interactions were minimal—no warmth, no energy, just going through the motions. Food did come out in a reasonable amount of time, so I’ll give credit there.

Where things really went wrong for me: I ordered a veggie taco and found small specks of real meat mixed in. As someone who is vegan, that’s a hard no. Whether it was cross-contamination or carelessness, it points to a messy prep space and a lack of attention when handling dietary restrictions. For anyone who avoids meat for ethical, religious, or health reasons, this is a big issue.

As for the menu, there are spicy sauces, which is probably the biggest perk. They also technically offer veggie options, but I was disappointed to find that the menu didn’t match what I’d seen online. There’s no Beyond meat anymore, and plant-based choices are very limited. Between the slim options and the cross-contamination, I wouldn’t recommend this spot for vegans or vegetarians.

This isn’t a one-star experience, but it’s also nowhere near a four or five. It might work as a fast, junky taco stop for some—but if you’re looking for quality, cleanliness, or care with dietary preferences, this probably isn’t it.

Self serving kiosk to order was not working. Waited at counter to order while the guy behind the counter stared at us across the bar for 5 minutes not willing to help. Left after not being able to order. Atrocious service, will never be back
