Usually good but lacking yesterday!! Burnt my daughters chopped steak, no rolls, and way too much pepper on miss kitty kat!!!
Well executed steaks and sides in an energetic setting. Staff is knowledgeable and service prompt. Overall, a great value.
Disappointing experience. Food was not acceptable. One member of ou party order medium rare and received a well cooked steak. The mashed potatoes were dry and gravy was congealed. Service was just as disappointing. Had to look for and track down our server multiple times. Was a work dinner and I was embarrassed to have hosted my colleagues and customers here.
We are on a road trip and decided to try the Triple J Chophouse and Brew Co for dinner. While the service and food were good, there were a few disappointments. We wanted to try their Raider Red beer but were told they had some issues with the AC and another system, which I can't recall what it was. Some of the beers were not available and others were flat according to the server. We ordered an appetizer, a beer (one that was available and good), a entree we were splitting and two side salads. The entree also came with warm bread and honey butter. While all of the food was good, the salad arrived first. The appetizer came when we just started the salads, The entree and bread arrived before we were halfway through the salads. We ate quicker than we normally do to make sure the hot items were still warm, and the cold items were still cold. What should have taken 60-90 minutes, was over in 30. If we are ever in the area again, we will probably give them another shot.
Triple J is a longtime favorite of mine. The service is always prompt, pleasant, and attentive. The food is excellent. The menu is varied and offers something for everyone. It's often crowded so the noise level is higher, but it doesn't take away from the experience unless you are there to conduct business or have a more intimate dinner.
Emma, our server was amazing!! The steaks were par at best to be fair lackluster for the $30price, the chicken fried steak was terrible, overcooked, and taste as if it sat out for half hour and cold. The ambiance was nice, and the noise level was fair.
Dinner was fantastic and the service was even better. The place was very busy with graduation, prom and general Saturday night traffic but Triple J was running like a well oiled machine. Lexy did a great job, our drinks were never empty and she was on top of our requests. Will definitely be back, thank you for making our daughter's 30th birthday a very special celebration!
Food was stellar. Bristol (our server) was awesome. The beers were cold and flavorful. I love this place.
Excellent food and service. Our group had the ancho chile filet, chicken fried steak, south forty chicken, hamburger steak.
Treasure of Lubbock! This place is great from the food for the $ to the service & atmosphere with live music!

Fantastic evening at the Triple J once again. It was packed and it was hot, but Oh So Good! Brought my parents for the first time and they could not stop eating the homemade wonton chips and queso.
We love Triple J's and enjoyed hearing our niece play! Also, kudos to Dylon who was an exceptional waiter!
The ambience was great. Our steak burgers will on the overdone side but still good. The music was great!
The food was delicious and our waiter was very attentive, serving us with a smile, and meeting all our dining needs.
Prime rib is always great, fun band last night, always a terrific time and meal at triple Js
