“I didn't want to leave McPherson Cellars but I had more stops to make. I was thrilled to meet the owner, Kim McPherson. Also, Addison and Hailey actually enjoyed hearing about my ongoing road trip, with it involving hot air balloons and tram rides, etc... Everyone was friendly and charming, and the wine was top notch!“

Pheasant Ridge Winery Wineries •
3507 E County Road 5700, Lubbock

“We stopped into Pheasant Ridge Winery and we're initially surprised at the gravel road and decided to go anyway. Our car made it back there without any issues. We pulled up and immediately greeted by the wine maker. We sat and spoke with him and he is so so very nice. He's an incredibly intelligent man and will talk anything from grapes to history. The wine was fantastic, we are self proclaimed uncultured sweet wine drinkers and I must say even with it being some of the more scary types of wine they were so smooth and pleasant. None of the hairspray/perfume nonsense we have had in other places. They were incredibly balanced flavors. The age and expertise of this winery are definitely prevailing in the flavors. Would strongly recommend for a casual experience.“
