We were visiting Lufkin and a local mentioned this place. It is a small bbq place and you can sit down to eat. The service was great and quick and friendly. The food was absolutely amazing. The brisket fell apart and was well seasoned. The boudain was tasty, and the bread was sooo good! Even the tea was fresh brewed and tasty. We loved it and will be back when we return to Lufkin.
So I've been wanting to try this place for a while, I don't live in Lufkin any longer but I needed to be in town for something so I decided to load the wife and youngest son to make a day of it, after trekking through the zoo we worked up quite the appetite so I took us here and I honestly don't regret it. I only recently discovered the yumminess that is Be Blessed BBQ. I've been there twice and this was my experience both times: the food was delicious, the atmosphere was warm and inviting with great background music that makes ya dance in your seat and sing along (until your food comes, cuz then your mouth is full!), and the prices are what you'd expect for ordering mostly meat (but THIS is meat that has been tenderly finessed for the last ~24hrs).
