The food was just plain bad. No seasoning, undercooked popcorn shrimp, terrible salad bar. Just not good. The Catfish King is more of a Joker.

Went there for lunch had to wait 20 minutes for my food because they had just put it down,the cook looked very uninterested the young lady at the register was silly after all that I ordered 4 piceses of fish and I got 3 and the hushpuppies were as hard as a rock,normally this place is better than that,I guess good help is hard to find.

Southern country catfish, shrimp, and oysters. It's as good grilled as it is fried! If you can stop in and take advantage of the salad bar featuring pickled okra, green tomato relish, potato salad, Cole slaw, and all the fixins for a green salad or baked potatoes. Whatever you do, don't skip the pinto beans!!! I have been known to drive up and order beans and hush puppies and be a happy country girl!!!! The location is rustic country with solid wood bench seating. Service is always given with a personal touch.
I don't live in Lufkin, but do love this place, so I take the opportunity to have it whenever it comes up. Incredible catfish.

There aint a whole lot to say... YOU HAVE TO EAT HERE! Some of the best fish I have had. It just melts in your mouth. They also have a really good salad bar. And I am no expert, here, but I love the hush puppies here as well. Just a great meal. Folks are friendly and the place has a good vibe. You should really eat here!

The food is delicious and beyond belief at this place. The fish and shrimp are fried to perfection and the fries are crunchy. The salad bar gives you all of your salad needs. Awesome place to dine in for all size groups.

I love catfish king salad bar. I do not recommend eating there fish anymore. They do not serve catfish anymore. They have switched to swai fish. The Alabama catfish is horrible, and there is a 4 dollar upcharge. Don't do it.
