This restaurant was a decent stopover during our road trip. Their seafood dishes are accurate to menu, tasted good, and was in generous portions. The staff was also quick and attentive to our orders. It was a clean, and comfortable environment with music but it wasn't too loud for us to talk. The Catfish King restaurant is a place well worth eating if you're craving seafood at an affordable price.
Loved the food. I had the fish and oyster plate. It was very delicious. The people were very nice, and the atmosphere was warming. PS If you order through Doordash make sure that everything is right before finalizing the order. They will not refund you if you cancel the order and they will keep your money. Just a heads up.

I ordered fresh cut Onion Rings, the Catfish & Butterfly Shrimp plate which came with a trip to the Salad Bar, Baked Potato (or FF), Pinto Beans, Cole Slaw & Hushpuppies. Everything was appealing and quite tasty! I will definitely stop in again on my next trip to Lufkin. Thanks for a great supper (& plenty of leftovers 😀), Catfish...
