We came on a Sunday during lunch time and were seated right away, our waitress was pretty nice. The rolls were pretty solid, I'd say a 4/5. The skillet cornbread was a little on the dry side and I feel like the cinnamon butter was giving it an odd taste so I'd have to give it 3/5. The chicken fried chicken with garlic mash potatoes and jalapeño gravy was pretty good, but the chicken fried chicken was quite thin so I'd give it a 4/5. Lastly the Dr. Pepper chocolate cake was so good especially with the strawberries, 4.5/5! I would recommend and will be back!

Update review: Decided to go back after my last horrible experience. This time Deania made me feel welcome. From the time I walked into the door until I left, she made me feel like I knew her for a long time. Allround positive energy. Even the other staff spoke and made me feel welcome. The food this time was amazing. On a strict diet now, so I had the grilled Cajun duo. EXACTLY. I'll definitely so back Thank you Deania !!!Update review: I had the worst service today. When we arrived, we were not greeted. A young man seen us come in and didn't even say Hi or just a minute. Another guy came in and the same young man hurried up and greeted him and ask if he's been helped. I'm shaking my head at this time due to we were standing there first. He then ask us how many in our party, I had to look around due to it being only us two. We were seated then he left. He came back a few min later and ask for our drink orders. Gave him that and it took about 10min before he received drinks. Let's just say that I felt that our server did not care what we needed. We were not even offered or giving the bread and butter we had to ask another waitress for drink refills and also for the bread,which is supposed to be complimentary. Our food wasn't right and when we tried to get the waiter he act like we were bothering him. To make it worse another couple came in a party of 4 and they were treated by the same waiter but had better service. Let's just say that I feel because they were Caucasian and we were not, we didn't matter. I probably won't be coming back again. Found out from the receipt his name is Blake. Being a server you need to treat people the way you would want to be treated. Very disappointed ?If you want a southern home cooked meal, come here. The food is good and the service is great I give them a 10⭐Vegetarian options: That have vegetable plate.

Passing through in our way home from Houston to Memphis and stopped for dinner. Excellent choice. Food was great and so was the service. Especially liked the country fried bacon!

Just went and ate here for my Husband and Mother n law birthday and I have to say that I haven't had a cheeseburger and fries that good in a long long time so kudos to the chef . What really stood out the most though is the exceptional service from our server Alice , she was so sweet and cheerful and on point every time .. If anyone goes in to Cotton Patch to eat please ask for Alice she is Amazing ..and today is her Birthday ..

The food was good but the service was 10/10. My waitress Miley McHaney went above and beyond to satisfy me and my family with everything we needed for an enjoyable dining experience. Would recommend and definitely a special thanks to our waitress who made our day.
Typically has great food. You have to be careful with respect to pricing because certain vegetables that should not be considered premium such as steamed broccoli are considered premium. All the ones that are nonpremium are high starch on the vegetable platter, so be careful if you are diabetic. The service was fantastic. Trichelle L. did a great job and was very quick. Everyone was friendly to us. The fish was done well which is what I ordered and was reasonably priced. My wife was very pleased with her beef tips as well.Vegetarian options: Be careful with some vegetables due to pork being used for seasoning in peas and some vegetables.
Wow, we were totally surprised. One delightful experience. Food atmosphere service people everything etc. was just enough to blow my mind. I was not expecting that place to be that amazing. Very tasty stuff. Definitely will return and we have already recommended to others. See 'ya!
