Golden Corral Buffet & Grill

I always enjoy eating here. I'm a meat eater and there is always plenty of delishious meat available. My husband eats veggies and can always load up on plenty of them. I have never been disappointed in the quality of the good food here. It is always expertly cooked. My favorite is the fried fish. I also love the shrimp. This is my favorite place to eat in Lufkin, unfortunately I'm not here often so it is a real treat. I highly recommend this restaurant.

We went on a Sunday between 2-3 thinking it be not as busy. We were wrong!! There was no place to sit & people were having to hold their drinks while waiting on a table. My husband had gone in ahead of us to get a table. When I went to pay our bill I was told that I couldn’t go the way that I had started walking. I explained that my husband was on the other side. She let me go and then about 5 minutes later she came over and told us that we had to move to a different table. She had another family with her who didn’t bother to wait for us to move before pushing in and sitting there stuff down. About 15 minutes later they all got up and moved to another table/another section. She came to our table asking where they had gone. We told her that we didn’t keep up with others!!!

The price is horrible!! Over $44 for the two of us. We use them as a special meal since we can’t afford this price very often!

Food has no soul lol. Golden Corral fell off. The food is very bland, very lackluster.
