We stopped by on our way to Galveston and we're definitely not disappointed. From the burger to the biscuits it was all delicious. Thank yall very much for your kindness and service!

It was okay, at best. Food came out a bit on the colder side, and that’s a sad state for an egg. Our server Robin was a shining star. She and the incredible biscuits made the visit worthwhile. Give Robin a raise! Give Robin the world!!!

This was our second breakfast spot to try in Lufkin, and overall it was pretty good. The place definitely has an older feel, but it was clean inside. We were able to sit wherever we liked, and our waitress came by within about 30 seconds. She was super sweet, took our drink order right away, and returned promptly to take our meal order. The breakfast rush was still in full swing, but everything seemed to be running smoothly, and there were clearly plenty of regulars.

Our food arrived in about five minutes, which was great. I got the three eggs and bacon with grits and biscuits. The eggs were scrambled just like I asked, the bacon was on the hard side, and the grits were pretty plain--but once I fixed them up, they were fine. The biscuits were delicious. My wife ordered the two eggs and bacon with hash browns and toast. They forgot to add the cheese she requested in her eggs, and her bacon was also pretty hard, but she enjoyed the hash browns and toast since both were cooked well.

All in all, it's a solid spot for a quick breakfast, and we'll definitely give them another try--especially since it's close by and has a warm, inviting feel.

We were out of town making our way back to Texas and they made us feel at home played a game with the kids. My son won a T-shirt. Manager and the staff was awesome.

Service score low because I went tonight and the waitress was rushing me out. There was a table of older people who they were completely polite too and didn't rush out the door. The guy checking me out even acred like he was in a hurry. It was still 15 minutes until close. I've been 4 other times and the service was good. But this time ruined it for me. Learn to treat your customers equally.

We were in Lufkin & stopped for breakfast. Our waitress, Rita, was fantastic. The food was really good. We went for breakfast. I don’t really care for breakfast. Rita told me almost everything on the menu was available anytime of day, so I had a Reuben sandwich & onion rings for breakfast. We will be back next time we visit Lufkin.

Two times I have eaten here and both times I have found hair in my food.. this last time we ate the manger said nothing about it.

Like the sign outside Beat Breakfast in Town and it was, served Hot and done correctly. Service was above Par from start to finish and will be back for more.

Hands down the BEST chicken fried steak in town! All the breakfast here is delicious and they serve good size portions! Staff is friendly and attentive.
