This is a long-standing bbq joint serving Lufkin. The bbq ribs & sausage are very good. The fried yeast rolls are like donuts without the glaze….. but they have honey 🍯 & they are Devine. Take a dozen home with you.

I haven’t put food this good in my mouth in a long time. The smell, The decor, the whole layout, and the serves literally make you feel like home. It’s like going to eat dinner at grandmas house after church on Sunday and all the family is happy to be there.
The food was ok. Service was great! I have to rate it in the lower end of all the barbecue places I’ve eaten. Bbq beef “by the pound” was $30. I felt that was way over priced. We had 3 of us eating, and no one was overjoyed by the food. One and done!

The atmosphere and interior is easy on the eyes. Lots of happy groups of folks sharing meals. Everybody takes the time to speak with you and check on you. Menu offerings are fantastic! Ribs 😋🤤 Went in for lunch w/ coworkers. Ordered the Classic Combo Plate. Everything was just right. You won’t leave hungry. Bringing my family in tomorrow. Highly recommend Lufkin Bar B Q
EDIT: I forgot to mention the bread rolls. Those things are dangerously appetizing. You’ve been warned.

Called in an order and went to pick it up. While their barbecue is good service was not so good. My husband went in to pick up the order 15 minutes after we called it in. Nothing was ready so he stood there for another 15-20 minutes while they fixed the order.
