Sliced BBQ was thinly sliced. Not enough meat on sandwich. Flavor was disappointing. The fried pies did not travel well and did not heat up well in air fryer: the recommended way per the help on site.
This is a long-standing bbq joint serving Lufkin. The bbq ribs & sausage are very good. The fried yeast rolls are like donuts without the glaze….. but they have honey 🍯 & they are Devine. Take a dozen home with you.
The food was delicious, tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. But the real standout was Erin, our server. She was warm, attentive, and made the whole experience feel special. We’ll definitely be back, and we’ll be asking for Erin again!
