ORIGINAL: My mom and I both had boiled shrimp. Once we got home we were both sick. I ended up in the ER from severe dehydration and was diagnosed with gastroenteritis from the shrimp. Will not be coming back and probably won't eat shrimp ever again.

If I could leave no stars I would! Brandon actually wasn’t any help at all. I spoke with him about a situation and he basically said forget how I felt or my needs he just wanted me to purchase something twice because my order was come. I most definitely will not be returning for a long time. I come here frequently and I’ve never had a problem until today!

I ordered all you can eat shrimp for $20.00
and I only ate one fry and maybe 5 shrimp and couldn’t take it with me I totally understand if I have made an additional order but it was my only plate it wouldn’t be right but my only plate and I paid $55 for two meals.

Going to Pelican Pointe was last minute, but they didnt disappoint. Food was amazing, drinks were just right and service was impeccable. They made my time with my best friend very special. We now live 2 hrs apart and rarely get to see each other due to life being too hectic. But it was like we had never been apart, our love tanks were recharged. I forgot my birthday was just a couple of days away and they did that right, too.

Brianna was amazing with our food. She recommended the AYCE shrimp. And it was AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!
Whatever you do, DONT order the $34 prime rib! It was the worst prime rib I’ve ever had in my entire life. It was so bad, I couldn’t even finish it. I’ve never not finished a steak! I could’ve gotten TWO decent prime rib steaks at Walmart for the $34. Also the booths were like sitting on slap of concrete.
On a positive note, my wife loved all of her food. She loves Cajun food The waitress was great, however, the YOUNG hostess could you some retraining. (If you’re the first face of a restaurant, you need to have a personality.) Here’s my suggestion for the hostesses: “Hi, welcome to Pelican Pointe, so glad you came in today. Do you have a seating preference.” Anything which demonstrates to the customer Pelican Pointe is grateful we chose to eat at their business.

Nice Atmosphere for Lufkin. We went last night and I ordered the blackened fish tacos listed on the menu. The fish was hardly cooked, very soft and cold. It actually made me sick later in the evening. The prices are high for the food you actually get on your plate.

Had the Monday all you can eat catfish. Fried, blackened, or grilled and you can switch it up. French fries and hushpuppies. I like coleslaw or potato salad with my catfish but that isn'tpart of the deal. Food was good not great and came out hot. If you want to eat a lot of catfish for less than $13, this is for you. The special sauce is good. Friendly and attentive staff.
