Terrible bartender and terrible service at the bar. (Thursday approx 4:30) Drinks were weak during happy hour, and food was awful. She recommended loaded fries, and not only did they have very little toppings, they tasted like they had been cooked yesterday.

Great food and great service! It is nice to eat somewhere that doesn't have the music blaring!

This is a first-class eatery, loved the rolls and butter that is sorely missed at most restaurants these days. We both had etouffee and I've had better. The sauce was thicker than most and the shrimp were too few. I'll no doubt come back again next trip through but we will both have to try something different on the menu.

Great place. Great food and great service. Was my first time trying Cajun food so I’m a poor judge to give my opinions about their food but most of my local coworkers said it’s good so I trust their judgment.

We have been 2 times and it was very good both times. Get the corn bread for an appetizer.

Fantastic food and service. We were allowed to take our time and Amy didn't rush us! We totally enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend this location!

Friday evening there was live entertainment on the patio. Very welcoming staff at the door. We were a large group of 25 people and we were served in a timely manner. Food was great although we did joke about the hard rolls! They might have been going for mini French bread tho. LOL! We are definitely coming back.

I always like to recognize extra effort, and I certainly observed it at Ralph & Kacoos in Lufkin! Driving back from Houston, I stopped at R&Ks around 6:00; the parking lot was pretty full, but it's a pretty big restaurant. I walked past a patio on the south side of the building thinking "who in their right mind would sit out here in the July heat!". I was greeted by the hostess and seated; my server, Josette, brought me a soft drink and asked for my choices of food. I countered by questioning if they still had "Lafitte" sauce, to which she answered yes. I chose the grilled snapper topped with shrimp on a bed of rice along with mushrooms as a side. I asked Josette if they had garlic bread, and she said "No, but I could ask the cooks about it." She returned in a reasonable time with my dish and a toasted roll, cut in half and covered with garlic butter! The food was good, the service better, and the extra effort was GREAT. I promised to write this review, and here I am. I recommend this restaurant wholeheartedly!

I really enjoyed this place. There are so many options on the menu that its hard to choose. From our beverage to our appetizer and main course, everything was great! Lots of flavor and a full bar is a plus!
