I only come here for the potato salad! Absolutely love it but the sandwiches too! Sometimes I just want that deli sandwich that only Roost can offer. I want something that's not your commercial type sandwich shop, ie Subway, Firehouse subs etc. Roost is the real deal! I thought of the picture after I was almost done. It doesn't do it justice. Sorry. Next time. This is truly a gem.
Food was good. The pancakes were very hot, and they are huge. Good value for size of servings. Wanted to alter my order by switching the seasoned potatoes for hash browns. Same price. Shouldn't be a big deal, right? Wrong. The cashiers response to that question was, 'we can't do that, there's no sub button on the register'. I worked in retail management for 20 years. Same price, you just tell the cook to sub hash browns. Easy, peasy.
