Best chicken ceaser salad I've had in a long time. The croutons are made of fried corn bread, which is just awesome.

I am visiting lufkin and saw this place had great review and decided to stop by. Let me tell you did not disappoint, great service, delicious food and good beer. If you have some time stop their pizzas are to die for and the Korean tacos are super juicy and full of flavor.

Great bar with unbelievable food. If you don't want to drink the food is still worth going here. Happy hour is incredible prices, $5 meal sized apps and $2 off drafts. Bar tenders were some of the most friendly we have come across. We were only here for a weekend and we wish this was closer to home so we could come more often. My favorite beer was the boobly woobly or bobbly wobbly or something? It was amazing! The stout was great too

Nice place and good food. Beware of the GenZ glaze from a couple service workers at Rusty Axe - it’s very off setting to the older generation.
Had to pick a fun stop half way between Natchez and Austin and found Lufkin, TX.
Great place to stop and try some great beers and grab a little snack. The tuna poke tacos and the pork rinds with the chili queso was delicious!
I tried a flight of beers from a Hefe to a Hazy. All very good representatives of each class of beer. Can’t wait to come back and try more.

My wife and I stopped in at Rusty Axe Brewing Company while deriving through Lufkin this past Friday, totally on a whim - based on reviews and the fact that they have a dog-friendly patio. This unplanned stop ended up being a highlight this past weekend. Madeline, our server, was very friendly and treated our two dogs with affection. She provided excellent service, which included some strong recommendations for food. We opted for the fish sandwich and the wild mushroom and truffle pizza. Both were out of this world! You know you both picked well when you keep picking at each other’s dish! As we were wrapping up our meal, Troy and GG stopped by on their way out to say hello and ask how we enjoyed the meal. We then found out that they are the owners. After meeting them, we could tell that they are passionate about their place, and the food and beer they provide. We plan on stopping by next time we drive through Lufkin. This is a highly recommended spot! I only wish we’d taken more photos!
