“Great place to eat! The inside is very clean and the staff are all super friendly. The manager/chef came by our table and was nice and chatted with us some. Our waitress, Vivian was great! Answered all our questions, was patient & provided exceptional service! The food was amazing, it came out quick and hot!“

“The pick 3 was nice as we are a senior couple and we each got a cup of soup and shared the half salad which was more than enough. I don’t think the lobster soup was worth the extra premium. Not any lobster pieces I could see mostly cream soup. The chicken tortilla soup was fantastic though“

“I always stop at this location, as my pitstop when traveling between Houston & Longview. Service was good, though, lately, it has slowed significantly at this location. Glad I checked our bag before leaving, they forgot one of our sides. The chicken looked overcooked (it was, and dry, when I ate it later) and had barely any sauce, so I asked for more. The grilled fish didn't look very grilled. While driving in the car on the remainder of our trip, I kept smelling an odd odor, which I realized was the fish. When we got to our destination and smelled it closer, it reeked and also had a slight bleach-like smell. I called the store, the gentleman said he'd speak with his manager and get back with me; he didn't take my name, nor number. I called back and he said he had my ticket w/my information (?). It has been 24hrs and I have not heard back from anyone. Sadly, this will be my last stop at the Lufkin location (the Longview location, so far, has been wonderful; I will still visit them). Very disappointed!! CFA will now be my pitstop when I travel thru Lufkin.“

“Okay, let me just say this: I’ve eaten at Chick-fil-A for years and I know manager material when I see it. And honey, Alan Gamboa? HE. IS. IT.

This man isn’t even a manager (yet!) and he’s already doing manager things. Like??? He steps in when people are slacking, keeps his cool when the lunch rush is insane, and somehow STILL manages to be nice to literally everyone (even the customers who ask for 12 sauces for one nugget). 🙄💅

He’s the type that shows up early, stays late, and actually cares about the job, not just clocking in and out. And don’t even get me started on his work ethic. Alan doesn’t just go the extra mile, he builds the whole highway.

I’ve seen managers with less leadership in their whole body than Alan has in his pinky. Give this man a title, a headset, and some authority already. Trust me, the store would run smoother and morale would skyrocket.

If he’s not manager material, then I don’t know what is. End of story.“

“Chick fil has always been one of my favorite places to go. They always have such great chicken sandwiches. Their Waffle fries are the bomb. I understand that they are a Christian organization and that is great. But I really wish that they would open up on Sundays because I find myself with few options on Sunday because I just don't like to go to a lot of places.“
