The food came out to our table hot hot right out of the fryer. The fish tasted so good. Probably the best fish I've eaten in a long time. Fries were hot and seasoned perfectly. This was my first time to eat at The Catch because we live in Houston so I was really surprised at the amount of food for the price also. Will recommend The Catch if you love catfish it's the place to go.
I went there from out of town after a doctor's appt. The catfish was very, very good, but too salty, before I finished the 7th filet. I would have to warn them before another visit. The side rice was not offered with butter, and I was too shy again to mention it. But the service was excellent and I was too hungry, too dead tired, and too shy, which was not their fault.. to give them a chance to correct it, but I will next visit from out of town ... my bad, not theirs ...
I was visiting friends in Nacogdoches, Tx and they wanted fish so we tried The Catch...although I've been to The Catch in Houston this location did not compare to that one at all. The restaurant was clean, the employees were friendly, and the food was great! I absolutely have no complaints!! Oh yeah, did I mention they gave "free" margaritas!
