My MIL recommended me to visit Downtown Scoop with my husband and kiddo, and we finally got the chance to stop for a visit! We tried the Michigan Pothole and was NOT disappointed. We enjoyed using their outdoor sitting area to watch Downtown Lufkin do it's thing.

The best banana pudding ice cream I've ever eaten! Generous servings, good selection, and great service! Also, they have a well-appointed refrigerator with niche sodas. My only complaint is the lack of non-dairy options, my son was disappointed he couldn't have ice cream with the rest of us. But other than that, is definitely recommend!
