Had my first potato from The Spud and don't plan on going back. Chipped beef was full of sauce and wasn't very much. Mostly sauce. Instead of butter I had sauce. Bottom of the potato was hard- cooked to long. Not much filling. Poppas Pitts in Huntington a lot better.

Great food! Filling and the best baked potatoes… The Koolaid and pie is a must add on! The #19 Sausage w/o the onions or the Chicken Fried steak potato is my favorite,

The photos are great but the toppings are definitely food service and not much homemade. The chicken fried steak is school lunch variety and my Cobb salad had fresh chicken but not 5 star. They only had chocolate pie none of the others on the menu and it was not homemade either. The meal with two pies came to $27 and some change. The was clean but if you’re expecting homemade it’s basically the potatoes. Sorry Spud I was hoping for better.
