Food was okay last time, but with each cook it varies. You are going to have to be specific if you want low sodium. I would have liked less soy sauce and less sauce on my vegetables. It is a little pricey and one plate of hibachi has a lot of food, so if you wanted to you could share it with someone in my opinion. The soup is always nice and great service. (:

Not good at all. I got a drink took one sip and it tasted bad I asked for a new one and they said they would charge. The food wasn’t good and neither was the service.

This was a fun experience! Great food, great atmosphere, very welcoming.. kind of pricey but the food and hibachi experience made it worth it..will return and do recommend!

I was there with my husband and 2 years old and we were the only ones at the table they made us wait 35 minutes to see if any more customers would come in to add to the table when I asked the waitress the man that's over the restaurant yelled at me across the restaurant embarrassing me I will never go back because of the humiliation and I am going to call the food inspector because I saw shrimp sitting in a hand washing sink when I went to pay ain't no telling what they do with chicken. And BBB BECAUSE U DON'T YELL AT CUSTOMERS!!! Im not the only customer he yelled at

Tokyo is my families favorite place to eat. We eat here once a week, sometimes more honestly. It’s always super good quality and a lot of food. They are really fast. They are always accommodating to my seafood allergy. For sure the best in Lufkin.?

The staff was so friendly (always is). If my kids are with us they always talk and include the kids. The food portions are always more than enough, and cooked amazingly. We have been going to Tokyo for 5+ years and have never been disappointed!

The chef was very nice and warm but there was little engagement with us. The chef cooked what seemed to be a full portion of steak and then cut the serving in half, put it on a separate plate and took it away. When I asked why half of our food was taken, the owner came up to us and said it was for him. Also........as I was leaving this review, the owner came over my shoulder and asked me not to leave the review. He was looking at my phone as I was rating my experience. He stated that it's been the same way for 18 years and chuckled when I told him I expected more for the price I paid. I was very honest with him about why I left this review and that it was very unprofessional to have a full serving of a customers implied order on the grill and then take half of it away. VERY unprofessional owner. But the staff was so friendly and the food tasted very good.
