Thank you for the great history of Edelbrand fruit brandy! The brandy was everything and more than we expected, the “ best of the best” is more than true. It was a pleasure to meet you and Alexandra and of course Ki, Bo and Max!
What an incredible rare gem right here in Central Texas! The owners are so nice and hospitable. We thoroughly enjoyed hearing all about how this place came to be and the story of Edelbrand. And of course, we enjoyed the tasting, too! We bought several bottles. The location is beautiful and peaceful, with the occasional baa from the sweet sheep. Wow. What a great destination! Alexandra is the master distiller who is very passionate and informative. After about an hour of learning the process we sampled eight varieties all made in the Austrian tradition. Fruit brandy made from apples, pears, and cherries...in clear and oak reserve varities. Make an appointment and be prepared to be amazed. Aromatic and Smooth with only three ingredients.
