Just discovered this place today!
The gingerbread/molasses cookies are thick and soft and the sugar on the outside adds just a little crunch! Fabulous!
I also got the cherry almond bread. Big chunks of cherries and soo yummy.

**Swoonworthy Sourdough Artisan Bakery** is an amazing little bakery in Luling. The sourdough bread is exceptional and the best you will ever have, with a delightful crunchy crust and fresh-from-the-oven quality. The sweets are incredible; the cookies are soft and moist, and the banana bread is amazing. Everything from the cookies, cakes, goodies, and bread is delicious. The staff provides excellent service and are extremely helpful expert bakers. Customers recommend the garlic herb and cheese, as well as the sourdough with garlic and rosemary. The fudge brownies with nuts are also a highlight. Note that there are no tables inside, only benches outside. For specific items like cinnamon rolls (made only on Saturday), customers should call ahead. This place is totally worth stopping in and well worth the drive from San Marcos, Seguin, or Lockhart.
